Nevermore - одна из ну очень немногих метал-групп 90-х, которая смогла доказать, то метал все-таки жив, и умные, техничные и талантливые музыканты в трэше не перестали появляться после «забойных» 80-х.Стиль, казалось бы, изжил себя, но нет… Блистательные Nevermore первым же своим альбомом заставили удивиться многих металистов. Альбом вышел если не шедевральным, то очень близким к такому. Сложные навороченные ритмы органично и оригинально сплетаются с мрачной атмосферой, шикарным и необычным вокалом. Первая композиция «What Tomorrow Knows» становится как бы вступлением, которое дает понять слушателю, куда он попал, в этой песне сплелось все, чем так сильна группа. Ну а дальше оторваться уже сложно, каждая композиция оригинальная, запоминающаяся, естественно со своими плюсами и минусами.
