Интровертный, загадочный и по-своему мелодичный, данный релиз поныне остается единственным их наследием. Carpathian Full Moon играют задумчивый блэк, изрядно экзальтированный для года своего появления. Дум / блэк этих норвежцев имеет мало общего с тем, каким его принято делать сейчас. Дум на «Серенадах» не грузящий и вязкий, а степенный, размеренный и дремотный. На ум приходят классические опусы от эпик-думовых команд. Блэк – не сырой норвежский, а благородной старообрядной закалки, напоминающий своей прилежностью ранний Samael. Думовую скуку повсеместно разряжают качающие среднетемповые отрывки, однако бластбит встречается считанные разы. Музыка кажется проработанной, но неброской и слишком вялотекущей.
