Я чувстсвую себя обязанным по отношению к "Spectral Mornings" [сольный альбом 1979 года]. Я не играю эти вещи сейчас, потому что чувствую себя обязанным сделать новые аранжировки. Иначе это будет всего лишь другая версия того, что уже есть. Унылые вялые барабаны я хочу заменить интересными идеями с перкуссией, а ритм должен стать более свободным и радостным. Мне кажется, что в большинстве случаев прогрессивный рок страдает и перегружен тягучими, медленными ритмами, которые на самом деле не соответствуют изменчивой природе вещей. Мне не очень интересны песни, которые просто являются символами своего времени, если только за ними не стоит прекрасная мелодия.
