Много лет спустя, после выхода нового альбома Agalloch "Ashes Against the Grain", Андерсон записал демки к пяти новым песням, впоследствии ставшими материалом третьего альбома под названием "Embodiment". В группу приняли новых участников: Дэйва Мюррея (Estradasphere, the Deserts of Traun, Tholus), Энди Уинтера (Winds, Age of Silence) и Тома Уэйлинга, а также в группу возвращается Джейсон Уалтон. "Embodiment" значительно расширил новый музыкальный словарь, созданный ещё в "Apollo Ends". Альбом превзошёл все ожидания группы и привлёк внимания многих металлистов.
