Стартует этот сплитище в лице Vlad Tepes - пожалуй, наиболее техничной и позитивной, если эти слова вообще применимы к проектам легионеров, банды французского объединения. Маршевое торжественное интро переходит в "Massacre Song From The Devastated Lands" - типично тепешовскую вещь с частой сменой гармоний с мелодичных на атональные, низким скримингом и развеселыми партиями ударных. Стоит отметить звук - про материал, в принципе, можно более и не упоминать (во-первых, все слышали его на ранних демках VT, а во-вторых - при всем разнообразии музыка держится в одном русле). Тембр гитарного дисторшена крайне неповторим и приятен, общий микс довольно мягкий и звучит не экстремально - скорее, атмосферно и приятно на слух. Однозначно верное решение - материал в такой обёртке звучит на ура и слушается с должной вовлеченностью. В такой колее проходит первая половина сплита.
