"Seventh Sojourn" - восьмой альбом The Moody Blues выпущен в 1972 году. В этом альбоме The Moody Blues, помимо одного Mellotron, использует клавиiшный инструмент под названием Chamberlin, похожий по звучанию на Mellotron. Этот инструмент мог иммитировать оркестровые звуки, более реалистичные и более простые, чем меллотрон. "Seventh Sojourn" занял пятое место в списке альбомов в Великобритании и стал первым альбомом, который достиг вершины хит-парада в Соединенных Штатах, и оставался там в течение пяти недель. В альбоме было два хита: «Is Life Life» (13-е место в Великобритании, 29-е место в США) и «I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band)» (36-е место в Великобритании , 12-е место в Соединенных Штатах). Обе эти песни были отодвинуты на второй план новым изданием «Nights in White Satin», впервые представленым в 1967 году.
