Franz Ferdinand is the debut studio album by Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand, first released on 9 February 2004 through the Domino Recording Company. It was recorded during 2003 at Gula Studios in Malmö, Sweden, with Tore Johansson, who produced the majority of the album, with two tracks produced by the band themselves. It entered the United Kingdom album charts at number three in February 2004 and contains the UK top ten singles "Take Me Out" and "The Dark of the Matinée" as well as UK top 20 hit "Michael".

The Colour and the Shape is the second studio album by the American rock band Foo Fighters. Produced by Gil Norton, it was released through Capitol Records and the group's own Roswell Records on May 20, 1997. The record is the debut of the Foo Fighters as a group, as the band's previous record, Foo Fighters (1995), was primarily recorded by frontman Dave Grohl and friend Barrett Jones as a demo. After the project ballooned and became an international success, the group convened for pre-production in the fall of 1996 and brought in producer Norton to establish a pop sensibility for the tracks. The band strived to create a full-fledged rock record, although the music press predicted another grunge offshoot.

Behind the Mask is the 15th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in 1990. It was the first album released by the band after the departure of guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. He was replaced by Billy Burnette and Rick Vito, both guitar players, singers and songwriters. Fleetwood Mac thus became a six-piece band with four singer/songwriters. The album was not as successful as its predecessor, Tango in the Night, nor did it spawn any big hit singles although "Save Me" made the US Top 40, while "Love Is Dangerous" and "Skies the Limit" enjoyed some airplay. "Save Me" and "Skies the Limit" were much more successful in Canada, where they both reached the Top 30. Though it barely reached the US Top 20, the album entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1 and achieved platinum status there. Following the album's release and subsequent world tour, bandmembers Stevie Nicks and Rick Vito left the band, though Nicks would rejoin in 1997.

FireHouse is the debut album by the American glam metal band FireHouse. Released in 1990, it launched the group into stardom.

Comfort in Sound is the fourth studio album by the Welsh rock band Feeder, released on 21 October 2002 and also the first to be released by the band after the suicide of drummer Jon Lee earlier in the year. The album was recorded at RAK Studios in London during most of 2002, and was produced by Gil Norton.
The band returned to live performance after Lee's suicide, playing low-key slots at various festivals in the United Kingdom, before releasing the single "Come Back Around" and then the album. Three further singles—"Just the Way I'm Feeling", "Forget About Tomorrow" and "Find the Colour"—followed the album's release. The album received positive reviews from the music press and was received well by the public, reaching number six on the UK Albums Chart. Although charting one place lower than predecessor Echo Park, Comfort in Sound had a much stronger chart run of 36 weeks on the weekly top 75 album chart, in comparison to the nine weeks of Echo Park.

Хотя альбом и состоит на половину из неальбомных вещей, однако кто не расплывется в улыбке за напоминание о пристах? А боевик Destruction? Короче рубимся под это дело и ждем новых выбросов в атмосферу с завода Вивчарека!

Это трудно описать, это надо слушать! Музыка очень сложная, жестокая и тяжелая, ритм постоянно меняется, при этом, все это звучит очень естественно. Барабанная работа просто потрясает! Как будто слушаешь первородный хаос и ощущаешь его красоту... Звук гитар очень низкий, т.е. тяжелый. Очень огорчает, что длится это блаженство всего 16 минут (мини-альбом) и осознание того, что продолжения, а значит, и полноценного наслаждения, мы уже никогда не получим! Вот такая она, лебединая песня одной из величайших дэт-групп!

На своём третьем альбоме шведы The Crown выдают ни в коем случае не мелодик-дэт, как тут указано выше, когда альбом был добавлен. А самый настоящий сносящий крышу дэт шведской школы с элементами термоядерного европейского трэшняка. “Crowned in Terror” является прямо-таки квинтэссенцией яростной злобы! В этом большая заслуга рыжебородого “привратника” Томаса Линдберга (At the Gates, Lock Up, Nightrage), который заменил у микрофонной стойки Йохана Линдстранда. Именно истеричный вокал Линдберга придаёт музыке The Crown эту яростную эмоциональность на грани аффекта, когда тебе глаза покрывает кровавая пелена, а ненавистных людей хочется рвать в клочья голыми руками.

Ska-P - is a Spanish ska punk band formed in 1994 in Vallecas, a district of Madrid, by a group of friends from Madrid, Navarre and Euskadi.
The band can be categorized, politically, as an anti-establishment musical group, sometimes even considered anarcho-communist. Musically, despite their fun image, Ska-P has well-rehearsed and tight arrangements, and as of 2002, includes among its members a brass section.
