Besatt (norwegisch/schwedisch: „besessen“) ist eine Black-Metal-Band aus Polen. Besatt wurden 1991 von dem Bassisten Beldaroh und dem Gitarristen Weronis gegründet. 1994 fand die Band mit dem Sänger und Schlagzeuger Fulmineus ein weiteres festes Mitglied. In dieser Form nahm die Band 1996 ihr erstes Demo mit dem Titel "Czarci Majestat" auf. 1997 trat mit Creon ein zweiter Gitarrist der Band bei. Im selben Jahr nahm die Band ihr erstes Album "In Nomine Satanas" auf.

Besatt means "possessed" in Norwegian/Swedish - the band of the same name hail from Bytom, Poland. The music is slightly thrashy black metal. The "Conquering The World With True Black Metal War" split featured tracks from Besatt and Misanthropy (US) among others. Besatt was formed in 1991.

The Unholy Trinity is the Satanic version of the Christian concept of the Holy Trinity. It is believed by some to be symbolic of a union between three powerful demons to oppose God and the forces of Heaven during the apocalypse, resulting in the era known as the End Times - which in turn would lead to the battle of Armageddon and ultimately the Day of Judgement.

Oчень бесатовский альбом, давящий на мощь, при этом ему чего-то не хватает в плане эмоций, хотя злой, порой мелодичный, но сделать шаг до фаворита не получается.

BESATT has been formed in 1991 as initiative of Beldaroh - bass, Weronis - guitar and Dertalis on drums to spread satanic ideas by the music. In the year 1992 band releases their first reh ever - "Ares". Four years later the first studio album appears. Demo titled "Czarci Majestat" (Devil's Majesty). After that Besatt regulary releases more albums and plays many concerts not only in Poland but all over the world. During that time the band lineup often changes and to this day band leader Beldaroh is the only member who remained from the very begining.

Классический Черный Металл в духе золотых деньков Дарктрон и Горгорот. По большому счету, детально описывать здесь нечего. Вся работа построена на проверенных временем черно-металлических стандартах: хриплый, каркающий, чахоточный вокал; быстрый гитарный чес и минорно-депрессивные риффы на суховатом и дрищеватом звуке; плохо читаемый бас, который преимущественно повторяет работу гитариста; агрессивная и напористая канонада ударных.

In April 2002 BESATT as: Beldaroh-bass, vocal, Agonus-guitar and Sukkor Benot (from polish KATHARSIS) as session drums have recorded new stuff for MCD "Korzenie Zla" (Roots of Evil). It contained new songs and two covers: Gorgoroth-Gorgoroth and Kreator-Tormentor.

During that time the band played many concerts in Poland and in other places on the whole world. BESATT from the same beginning always was and still is the satanic band. Their lyrics just pay tribute to Satan and whole demonology and treats Satan as a wisdom and God.

"Hellstorm" was originally released in 2002 and featured a brutal, yet also melodic and atmospheric approach, incorporating different elements of Black Metal mixed with true Satan worshiping. Besatt became highly revered for forging a satanic sound, while also retaining own rawness.

Неожиданно классный блэк, в лучших традициях, его так не хватает особенно в последнее время, на фоне повсеместного опопсения жанра. Вспоминаются с ностальгией гранды, мардуки и дарк фунералы, вместо модных сейчас женских вокалов и скрипично-волыночных партий жестокий голос и такая же музыка. Спасибо полякам и демонизеру.

Сам альбом получился, конечно, довольно демоническим и мощным, но не таким убойным, как я ожидал. Что, впрочем, и к лучшему, потому что напичканные сверхзвуковыми бластбитами и гитарной пилорамой релизы потихоньку начинают надоедать. Я бы даже сказал, сабж практически вторгся на территорию мелодичного блэка, хотя об этом можно поспорить. Мелодики тут предостаточно, чтобы максимально украсить и разнообразить материал, но вот чтобы считать "Anticross" чем-то, кроме представителя стандартного блэк-метала, ее все же мало.

Дух андеграунда ещё жив! Очень порадовало качество записи, это одна из немногих попадавшихся мне в последнее время блэк металических работ, в которой абсолютно четко и ясно прослушивается бас гитара. В плане музыки сравнить особо и не с чем ибо команд подобного уровня в Европе легионы, иногда чем-то напоминает Darkthrone и Carpathian Forest. В общем - очень хорошая и достойная работа на уровне грандов жанра.
