Remix Dystemper is a 1998 remix album of Skinny Puppy tracks, by various artists. An early pressing of the Remix DysTemper album shipped with all the proper artwork, but the disc contained Christian gospel music instead of the Skinny Puppy remixes. A promo version of the album contained only eight tracks, omitting tracks 3, 4, 10, 11, 12. Both the "Rodent" remix by Hiwatt and the "Spasmolytic" remix by Deftones appeared on different soundtracks of the famous Saw franchise.

"Testure" is a song by Canadian electro-industrial band Skinny Puppy, taken from its 1988 album VIVIsectVI and released as a single in 1989. Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse is the second studio album by Skinny Puppy, released on September 5, 1986. It contained the single "Dig It", which inspired several industrial music contemporaries, including Nine Inch Nails. "Dig It" received extensive airplay on MTV and was listed by Billboard as a recommended dance track. The song "Stairs and Flowers" was also released as a single.

Worlock is a single by the band Skinny Puppy from the album Rabies. The song uses a sample of the guitars in "Helter Skelter" by The Beatles, as well as a vocal sample of Charles Manson singing the song. Vocalist Nivek Ogre considered it one of the band's better songs. A mispressed CD release exists that contained Sinéad O'Connor's "The Emperor's New Clothes."

Spasmolytic is a single by the band Skinny Puppy from the album Too Dark Park. Deftones created a remix of the song that was included on Remix dystemper and the Saw IV soundtrack. At a running time of 31:22, "Spasmolytic" is Skinny Puppy's longest 12-inch single. The cover art is by Jim Cummins (I, Braineater). The track "Harsh Stone White", when performed live, featured a backing video that, like the infamous Worlock video, consisted of frightening and graphic scenes from movies.

Brap: Back & Forth Series 3 & 4 is a compilation album by industrial band Skinny Puppy. It was released as a double-CD in 1996. This album reached to #9 in Billboard chart's Top Heatseekers. Disc one is largely instrumental demos (only two tracks feature vocals and a few others vocal samples) whereas Disc two is composed mainly of live cuts (with only two or three studio tracks). The cover art was created by Dave McKean.

Skinny Puppy will see a live album, "Bootlegged, Broke And In Solvent Seas", out later this year, more precisely on June 12, 2012. Recorded in Warsaw, Bratislava, Hildesheim, and Budapest, the material has not been edited but instead captured from the soundboard and a handheld recorder by Ken 'Hi-Watt' Marshall.

Compilation by Skinny Puppy released on Nettwerk in 1987. The release of this compilation coincides with that of Remission & Bites and contains many of the same songs, albeit in a different context. This compilation culls songs from the assorted releases of Skinny Puppy's first two albums, Remission and Bites, and features remixes of two songs in place of their original versions.

Inspired by the music of Nocturnal Emissions, Portion Control, and The Legendary Pink Dots, music which had been accessible to the band primarily via tape exchange, Skinny Puppy experiments with analog and digital recording techniques, composing multi-layered music with synthesizers, drum machines, acoustic percussion, tape-splices, found sounds, distortion, samplers, and conventional rock music instruments.
