Les Gray was the lead singer of Mud, one of the most successful bands of the Seventies, whose hit records included "Tiger Feet" (1974), "Lonely This Christmas" (the Christmas No 1 in 1974) and "Oh Boy" (1975).
"I don't know why we called ourselves Mud," said Gray in 1994,
but I know we wanted one short word like The Who or Them because it looks so good on posters. If you're on a festival with a lot of acts, you want big lettering and you don't stand a chance if you're called the Incredible String Band. Mud was also a funny name and we knew we would get all the "Mud in your eye" and "My name is Mud" jokes.

Selwyn Birchwood is an American blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter from Tampa, Florida. He was the winner of the Blues Foundation’s 2013 International Blues Challenge (band category), as well the winner of the Albert King Guitarist of the Year award, presented at the same event. To win, he bested 125 other bands from around the world. Birchwood plays electric guitar and electric lap steel guitar. His live performances feature his original songs. The Extremist lives up to its name, continuing Joe Satriani's tradition of exploring new musical and compositional ground. Out in the Fields: The Very Best of Gary Moore is a compilation album by Gary Moore. Released in 1998, the album encompasses a part of Moore's immense career from 1982 to 1992, focusing predominantly on the hard rock albums Moore released during that period. As well as the regular 1-disc version, a 2-CD limited edition was also released; the second disc contains several live and studio B-sides, a non-album single and a single remix.

Five Guys Walk into a Bar... is a comprehensive four-disc retrospective of the British rock group Faces released in 2004, collecting sixty-seven tracks from among the group's four studio albums, assorted rare single A and B-sides, BBC sessions, rehearsal tapes and one track from a promotional flexi-disc, "Dishevelment Blues" - a deliberately-sloppy studio romp captured during the sessions for their Ooh La La album, which was never actually intended for official release.

Much discussion has been had on the quality of the mixes released on CD in the 1980s but now the original audio will be available once and for all in an amazing boxset!
