Aqua was recorded at Advision Studios in Brighton, England, and produced by Downes. The cover artwork was designed by Rodney Matthews, known for his work with Eloy and Magnum among others, and featured the group's logotype designed by Roger Dean, who had created the covers of all previous studio recordings.

Anthologia: 20th Anniversary Geffen Years Collection 1982-1990 es un álbum recopilatorio de la banda británica de rock progresivo Asia y fue publicado en 2002. Este compilado fue lanzado al mercado con motivo del 20.º aniversario de la fundación de la banda en 1982.
Este recopilado de doble disco, como su nombre lo dice, es una antología de la agrupación y por ello contiene todas las canciones de los álbumes de estudio Asia, Alpha y Astra, además de lados B que se pueden encontrar en el EP Aurora, el cual fue lanzado solamente en Japón y finalmente de la compilación Then & Now, todos publicados de 1982 a 1990 por la compañía discográfica Geffen Records.

Exposed is the first live album by English musician Mike Oldfield, released as a double album on 27 July 1979 by Virgin Records in the UK. It was recorded at various locations across Europe during Oldfield's debut concert tour as a solo artist, following the release of his fourth studio album Incantations (1978). Oldfield used several vocalists on the album, including his then girlfriend, Anita Hegerland. The album's music was performed mainly with synthesizers. It was the first time Oldfield recorded an album without an instrumental piece; each track being vocal-based pop and rock songs. Oldfield's only other album free of instrumentals is 2014's Man on the Rocks.

Discovery (printed as Discovery & the Lake on the back cover and spine) is the ninth studio album by English multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Mike Oldfield, released on 25 June 1984 on Virgin Records. After his 1983 tour, Oldfield relocated to Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland for tax purposes and started work on a new album. While living in Villars, Oldfield also composed the soundtrack to the soundtrack to The Killing Fields (1984). Selections from the two were released as The 1984 Suite, in 2016.

Crises is the eighth studio album by English multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Mike Oldfield, released on 27 May 1983 on Virgin Records. It marked the continuation of Oldfield's change in musical direction that had started with his previous album Five Miles Out (1982), signified by more commercial and straightforward rock and pop songs. The album contains the hit singles "Moonlight Shadow" featuring Maggie Reilly on lead vocals and "Shadow on the Wall", sung by Roger Chapman. Oldfield supported the album with the Crises Tour across Europe in 1983 that featured most of the musicians that played on the album.

Eye in the Sky is the sixth studio album by British rock band the Alan Parsons Project, released in May 1982 by Arista Records. At the 25th Annual Grammy Awards in 1983, Eye in the Sky was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album. In 2019, the album won the Grammy Award for Best Immersive Audio Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Вопреки установившемуся мнению, что для раскрытия потенциала необходимо энное количество альбомов, Riverside делают нехилый замах на монстров прог-рока уже первым альбомом. Странно, то же количество нот, те же инструменты, где-то уже слышанный вокал (Anathema, Porcupine Tree, вот только отдельные порыкивания на грани гроула - это свое, риверсайдовское), но вот полученный на выходе результат навевает ассоциации то ли с магией, то ли с алхимией, секреты которых знают участники группы.
Этот альбом - самый легкий у группы, гитара почти везде играет одна, без ритм-прокладки, и лишь редкие срывы вокалиста показывают, откуда у музыкантов-то уши растут. А растут они из дэт-металла! Да-да, эта очень легкая, воздушная смесь пинкфлойдовского звучания и позднего анафемного вокала сделана бывшими участниками дэтовых коллективов!
