"Theme from A Summer Place" is a song with lyrics by Mack Discant and music by Max Steiner, written for the 1959 film A Summer Place, which starred Sandra Dee and Troy Donahue. It was recorded for the film by Hugo Winterhalter. Originally known as the "Molly and Johnny Theme", the piece is not the main title theme of the film, but a love theme for the characters played by Dee and Donahue.

To Whom It May Concern is the debut album by British R&B/pop group The Pasadenas, released in 1988. The album contains three UK top 40 hits: "Tribute (Right On)" (#5), "Riding on a Train" (#13) and "Enchanted Lady" (#31). "Tribute (Right On)" also reached #52 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The Best of the Moody Blues is a compilation album by the progressive rock band the Moody Blues, released on 28 January 1997. I like this recording, although not as much as the official soundtracks. These arrangements are not those heard in the film, but redone by one of the composers (Coppola, d.1991). That's not necessarily a bad thing, however. In 1981, trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and saxophonist Branford Marsalis burst on the scene as the young lions who started a jazz renaissance. They were followed by their younger brothers, trombonist Delfeayo and drummer Jason. Incredible as it sounds, they’ve never recorded together as a family. On August 4, 2001, at the University of New Orleans, they performed with their father, the esteemed pianist and educator Ellis Marsalis in a concert that marked his retirement from the school’s jazz department. Supported by bassist Roland Guerin, the family delivers a swinging live program of standards and original works in trio, quartet, and sextet combinations. The elder Marsalis’s pristine pianism colors his midtempo tune “Swingin’ at the Haven,” while Jason Marsalis’s Afro-tinged intro peppers the standard “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top.” Wynton and Branford declare their brotherly love on the saxophonist’s Ornette Coleman-esque “Cain and Abel.” Actor-singer-pianist Harry Connick Jr. joins in on the fun with “Twelve’s It” and “St. James Infirmary.”

Those the Brokes is the second album from The Magic Numbers. The album was partly recorded in New York at Allaire Studios in Spring 2006, a venue which has also been used in the past by David Bowie, The Strokes and Ryan Adams, and was recorded and engineered by Richard Wilkinson.

Songwriting duties were taken by Romeo Stodart as was much of the musical composition and arrangement. It incorporated the earlier single release of "Hymn for Her" as a hidden track. The album incorporates many folk elements within the main indie sound which resounds throughout. The album also reflects many elements of the writers early childhood dreams, tales of their love life and desperation of youth. For example, "Love Me Like You", the best known single of the album, illustrates the difference of feeling in their love for each other.
