Первый и пожалуй самый лучший альбом группы и на мой взгляд один из лучших за всю историю Норвежского и не только, Блэк металла. Группа, по сравнению со своими коллегами по цеху, выделяются профессиональным подходом к делу. Прежде всего хочется отметить качество записи, как это не странно для того периода, очень хорошее, и уж куда лучше, чем у прославленных Emperor с их "In the Nightside Eclipse" того же года.Ну теперь перейдем непосредственно к музыке, композиции выдержаны в довольно быстром темпе, мелодичны и красивы, гитары, обильно разбавленные синтезаторными ходами, эстэтично диссонируют с ритмом.
