Знакомство мое с этой группой началось с легендарного альбома «Thunder in the East». «Disillusion» же - первый англоязычный альбом японцев, так сказать, пробный шар. Здесь представлен хэви-метал английского образца, характеризующийся хрипловатым надрывным вокалом Минору Ниихары и виртуознейшими гитарными партиями Акиры Такасаки. Вообще, техника музыкантов и особенно гитариста можно назвать в числе сильных сторон сего творения.
