Если кто-то еще сомневается в связи гениальности и сумасшествия, этот альбом демонстрирует ее наиболее наглядно. Часть материала для него была написана в психиатрической клинике, а во время записи Девин спал по 3 часа в сутки, на полу в своей студии.«Infinity» - самая грандиозная задумка Таунсенда. Это попытка отразить творческий разум Вселенной в виде музыки. Белый цвет обложки символизирует единство всех цветов радуги и соответствующих им семи уровней бытия.Классифицировать эту музыку невозможно, поэтому определение стиля как авангард-метал вполне справедливо. Отличительная особенность «Infinity» – мощнейшие стены звука, будто наполняющие пространство светом и создающие ощущение масштабности и какой-то торжественности. Вокал Девина, всегда великолепный, здесь полностью срывает башню, унося в неведомые миры. Настроение – всепоглощающее веселье, часто переходящее в полное безумие, а ближе к концу альбома – в нирвану.
