Отличный альбом молодых музыкантов. Великолепно сыгранный трэш с дэтовыми элементами, потрясающая мелодика - это новый альбом Raise Hell. Все композиции хороши, особенно хочу отметить: Babes, в которой глубоко запрятаны слова и мелодии песни группы The Doors - "Light My Fire", Devilyn - красивая тяжелая баллада, заглавную композицию, являющую собой вершину соединения мелодизма и скорости, а также 8-ми минутную песню Soulcollector. Явным плюсом является сильный интересный вокал с блэковыми мотивами. Очень успешный альбом во всех смыслах.

Очередной хороший альбом получился у голландцев. Невесомая космическая музыка, которая слушается под определенное настроение, с фирменным голосом Anneke van Giersbergen. Все меньше пространства осталось для гитар, но они все же есть и даже "примоченные", но их задвинули на задний план, словно размыв, и прикрыли ширмой, чтобы не мешали. Ударные очень своеобразны, с каким-то порой недоступным ритмическим рисунком. Звуковая палитра заметно потускнела со времени альбома Souvenirs, но это идет только на пользу, настраивая на задумчивый созерцательный лад. The Gathering двигаются давно намеченной тропой, уходя все дальше и дальше от своих корней, причем уже не только от металла, но и от рок-музыки вообще. Не удивлюсь, если следующая работа будет в амбиентном ключе.

Несомненно, что если бы не Wishmaster от Nightwish, данный диск мог бы претендовать на звание лучшего релиза года. Потрясающая скорость, исключительная мелодичность, АБСОЛЮТНАЯ хитовость всех песен, и все это при женском вокале. Кроме того диск концептуален - Скаллы вспомнили на нём про некогда великую Римскую империю. Очень достойное продолжение исторических эпосов,

Withered beauty was started in 1993 by Daniel and Magnus. Tobias joined the band about half a year later. The first demo, "Screams from the forest", was released 1994 and the second, "Through silent skies", in 1995. A few labels got in touch, but nothing really happened. Because of military service and people moving, the band was put on hold for a while... Until Nuclearblast one day called us and wanted us to participate on their "Death... is just the beginning 4" compilation with the song "Immortality is mine". The same song was later used in the "10 years Nuclear Blast" box. This collaboration lead to a deal with N.B. In december'97, the album was recorded in The Abyss studio with Peter Tдgtgren. Альбом действительно великолепен: жесткое молотилово неожиданно замедляется до медленных и протяжных риффов гитары, украшенных убранством красивых мелодий; звук колокола наводит ужас; вой диких волков наводит страх, а крики душ приводят вас в замешательство.

В шестнадцатый раз Motorhead отправились в студию и в шестнадцатый раз вышли оттуда с набором новых песен. На этот раз набор получил название "Hammered". Довольно удачное, надо сказать. После прослушивания этого диска действительно ощущение как будто получил по голове молотом. Лемми и Ко, только недавно отпраздновавшие двадцати пятилетие группы, играют все с таким же задором и энергетикой, как и раньше. Естественно, никаких стилистических изменений произведено не было, звук остался оглушающим и грязным, и песни по-прежнему поделены на "серьезные" и "раздолбайские". Что очень приятно - почти весь материал на самом высшем уровне, слабых моментов почти что нет.

Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter is the fourth studio album by American rapper Jay-Z. It was released on December 28, 1999, by Roc-A-Fella Records and Def Jam Recordings. According to USA Today critic Steve Jones, the record marked a return to the street-oriented sound of Jay-Z's 1996 debut album, Reasonable Doubt.[1] Vol. 3... featured production from Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, K-Rob, DJ Clue, Rockwilder, DJ Premier, and Irv Gotti, among others.

This Is the Remix is a remix album by American R&B group Destiny's Child. Released in the United States on March 12, 2002 by Columbia Records, the album compiles previously released R&B and dance remixes of songs originally featured on the band's first three studio albums: Destiny's Child (1998), The Writing's on the Wall (1999) and Survivor (2001). The album also includes one new track: "Heard a Word", a solo track performed by member Michelle Williams. The album's title is a reference to a lyric in the first track "No, No, No Part 2".
Upon release, This Is the Remix received generally mixed critical reception. It peaked at number 29 on the Billboard 200 and at number 8 on the New Zealand Albums Chart. In the United Kingdom, the album peaked at number 25 and was certified gold.

Four singles were produced—"Bills, Bills, Bills", "Bug a Boo", "Say My Name" and "Jumpin', Jumpin'". "Bills, Bills, Bills" and "Say My Name" became Destiny's Child's first two US Billboard Hot 100 number-ones, with the latter winning the group their first two Grammy Awards. With worldwide sales of 13 million copies, The Writing's on the Wall is one of the best-selling girl group albums and best-selling R&B albums of all time.

Sinners Never Sleep is the third studio album by English rock band You Me at Six. It was released on 3 October 2011 through Virgin Records. While touring in support of their second studio album Hold Me Down (2010), the band wrote slow-tempo material and heavy-sounding songs. Between March and May 2011, they recorded with producer Garth Richardson at Sunset Sound and The Sound Factory in Los Angeles, California. Partway through the process, vocalist Josh Franceschi suffered a panic attack, which resulted in him being hospitalized and the band losing time in the studio. Described as an alternative rock and pop rock album, Sinners Never Sleep was a departure from the pop punk sound of their previous releases.

The Yes Album is the third studio album by English progressive rock band Yes, released on 19 February 1971 by Atlantic Records. It was the band's first album to feature guitarist Steve Howe, who replaced Peter Banks in 1970, as well as their last to feature keyboardist Tony Kaye until 1983's 90125.
The album was the first by the band not to feature any cover versions of songs. The band spent mid-1970 writing and rehearsing new material at a farmhouse at Romansleigh, Devon, and the new songs were recorded at Advision Studios in London in the autumn. While the album retained close harmony singing, Kaye's Hammond organ, and Chris Squire's melodic bass, as heard on earlier releases, the new material also covered further styles including jazz piano, funk, and acoustic music. All of the band members contributed ideas, and tracks were extended in length to allow music to develop. Howe contributed a variety of guitar styles, including a Portuguese guitar, and recorded the solo acoustic guitar piece "Clap", live at the Lyceum Theatre, London.

Pocket Universe is the ninth studio album by the Swiss band Yello, released on February 24, 1997 through Mercury label.
