Группа была сформирована в 1992 году и вскоре было издано демо "Symbolization" - уже зимой 1993 года. Это шестипесенное произведение смертельного искусства принесло группе с севера Германии признание на андеграундной сцене, и многие лейблы проявили охоту подписать с ними контракт. В итоге таковой был подписан со Steamhammer Records/SPV и там был выпущен в феврале 1996 года дебютный альбом "Immortelle", записанный зимой 1994/1995 года. Dew-Scented заслужили репутацию весьма жёсткого концертного состава, выступая в поддержке у Overkill и им подобных
