Accelerate is the 14th studio album by American alternative rock band R.E.M., released on March 31, 2008 in Europe, and on April 1 in North America. Produced with Jacknife Lee, Accelerate was intended as a departure from the 2004 album Around the Sun.[2] R.E.M. previewed several of the album's tracks during a five-night residency at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, and recorded the album in a nine-week schedule.
The album was heralded as a return to form for the band, receiving a warm reception from music critics and achieving a 79/100 rating on Metacritic. Reviewers often complimented the aggressive, purposeful sound of the songs, with Q magazine critic Keith Cameron stating that "Accelerate is the sound of a band having enjoyed a good word with themselves—and us."

A Kind of Magic is the twelfth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 3 June 1986 by EMI Records in the UK and by Capitol Records in the US. It was their first studio album to be recorded digitally, and is based on the soundtrack to the film Highlander, the first in a series directed by Russell Mulcahy.
A Kind of Magic was Queen's first album to be released since they had been acclaimed for their performance at the 1985 Live Aid concert. It was an immediate hit in the UK, going straight to number one and selling 100,000 copies in its first week. It remained in the UK charts for 63 weeks, selling about six million copies worldwide (600,000 in the UK alone). The album spawned four hit singles: the album's title track "A Kind of Magic", "One Vision", "Friends Will Be Friends", and "Who Wants to Live Forever", which features an orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen, while the last track, "Princes of the Universe", is the theme song to Highlander.

It was produced by Owen Morris and the group's guitarist Noel Gallagher. It reached number one in the UK Albums Chart with first week sales of just under 238,000, and is the 32nd fastest selling album ever in the UK. German based MAD MAX is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a new release “Here We Are”. Being in the industry since 1982 and more than a half dozen releases going from Roadrunner Records to A Minor Records MAD MAX have gathered a huge fan base hitting all shore points from Japan to the US. Michael Voss lead vocalist has been a mainstay of the band as has guitarist Juergen Breforth along with Roland Bergmann and Mark Shulman. MAD MAX looks to concur once again with a driving CD filled with hooked choruses, sweet melodic sounds and classic guitar. Just hearing the title track “Here We Are” we hooked up with Juergen and had to congratulate these boys for such a promising career in music and still being a vibrant entity.
