American symphonic black metal band that was formed in 2001 as a side project by Eric Peterson & Steve Di Giorgio of Testament, and Steve Smyth of Nevermore. The band is a result of Eric Peterson's interest in darker music, and not being able to do that with Testament he formed Dragonlord. The band combines elements of black metal with some thrash guitar influences. Pyramid (stylized as Pyr△mid) is the third album by progressive rock band The Alan Parsons Project, released in May 1978. It is a concept album centred on the pyramids of Giza. At the time the album was conceived, interest in pyramid power and Tutankhamun was widespread in the US and the UK. Pyramid was nominated for the 1978 Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.

Alan Parsons is a unique figure in popular music; very few people go from working as a recording engineer and producer to becoming an artist in their own right. After working behind the scenes with the Beatles and Pink Floyd, Parsons formed his own Project (not, he explains, a group). Between 1976 and 1987, the Alan Parsons Project released ten albums of original music. Along the way, Parsons was nominated 13 times for a Grammy; he won his first with 2019’s Eye in the Sky (35th Anniversary Edition).

East Side Story is the fourth studio album by new wave group Squeeze. The album peaked at number 19 in the UK Albums Chart, spending 26 weeks in the listing.

The album marked a shift from the new wave sound of their earlier work, as it contained songs influenced by rockabilly, R&B, blue-eyed soul, Merseybeat, and psychedelia among other genres. It also contained Squeeze's last top 10 UK single, "Labelled with Love". It was the first album to feature new keyboardist Paul Carrack formerly of Ace, replacing Jools Holland who had departed in early 1981. He sang lead on the track "Tempted", which became Squeeze's first U.S. chart hit. Shortly after the release of this album, Carrack left the band for a solo career, but he returned to Squeeze for a time in the early 1990s, playing and singing on the Some Fantastic Place album.

The Scorpions on the other hand have been quite judicious with their live releases with only seven live albums including two unplugged ones in their 60 year career. That being said, the Scorpions have had quite a few live DVD releases with apparently nine in a 15 year span from 2001 to 2016 but to me, those don’t count for “live album” releases. Given the Scorpions‘ likely calculated restraint when it comes to releasing live records, it was a no brainer for me to pick up Coming Home Live. The Scorpions‘ setlist for Coming Home Live is very similar to the one when I had last seen them play live in Toronto back in 2022. The main difference between the legendary group’s setlists from 2022 to the 60th Anniversary show, that resulted in Coming Home Live, are that many of the new songs from the band’s latest album Rock Believer that made the cut in 2022 — “Seventh Sun”, “Peacemaker” and “Rock Believer” — made way for classics “Coming Home” (a shortened version), “Loving You Sunday Morning” and “I’m Leaving You” along with a medley of 70s tracks consisting of “Top of The Bill”, “Steamrock Fever”, “Speedy’s Coming” and “Catch Your Train”. The other main difference setlist wise is that the hit “No One Like You” was inexplicably dropped in favour of the ballad “Still Loving You”.

It was originally recorded by McCartney and produced by English musician Mark Ronson for McCartney's sixteenth studio album New, and appears as the sixth track on the album.
