A Scarcity of Miracles is an album by Jakszyk, Fripp and Collins. It united former King Crimson musicians Robert Fripp and Mel Collins with singer-songwriter and guitarist Jakko Jakszyk.

В феврале 2001-го вышел концертный CD "Damas y Caballeros, Los Straitjackets". Примерно в это же время "Los Straitjackets" довелось выступить вместе с легендами инструментального серфа "Ventures". Спустя несколько месяцев в продаже появился альбом "Sing Along with Los Straitjackets", записанный с участием ряда популярных вокалистов. Параллельно стартовал тур "The Los Straitjackets Rock & Roll Party", в котором был задействован певец Биг Сэнди и танцевальная труппа. В конце 2002-го коллектив выпустил рождественский сборник "Tis the Season for Los Straitjackets", а в августе 2003-го вышло совместное творение "Los Straitjackets" и Эдди Клиэуотера "Rock & Roll City". 12—13 сентября 2013 года Scorpions сыграли два акустических сета в театре под открытым небом «Ликавит» в Афинах (Греция). Театр был построен по проекту греческого архитектора Такиса Зенотоса в 1965 году. Таким образом, театр является ровесником группы Scorpions. On June 6, 2007, the band released their first greatest hits album, Impressions: The Very Best of LAD, an exclusive released for the Japanese market. The band performed at the United Forces of Rock festival in Ludwigsburg, Germany on September 30, 2007 alongside Joe Lynn Turner, Stan Bush, White Wolf, Soul Doctor, Human Zoo and Danger Danger.The band released their fifth studio album, Hunting Shadows in Japan on February 22, 2008 as well as the live album Live in Germany 2007.

Deep Purple's 2005 album Rapture of the Deep generally maintains the quality of 2003's surprisingly sturdy Bananas. It's the second release from the re-energized lineup of vocalist Ian Gillan, guitarist Steve Morse, bass guitarist Roger Glover, drummer Ian Paice, and keyboardist Don Airey, who replaced the retired Jon Lord.

Chubby Checker (born Ernest Evans; October 3, 1941) is an American rock 'n roll singer and dancer. He is widely known for popularizing many dance styles including the twist dance style, with his 1960 hit cover of Hank Ballard & The Midnighters' R&B hit "The Twist" and the Pony with hit "Pony Time". In September 2008, "The Twist" topped Billboard's list of the most popular singles to have appeared in the Hot 100 since its debut in 1958, an honor it maintained for an August 2013 update of the list. The concept of the super-group, while not new, has evolved a bit since it was dabbled with in the 60s and 70s. From Cream to ELP to Asia to The Traveling Wilburys, the super-group has always been a productive outlet for both record labels and rock stars either looking for a momentary change of scenery, or a new direction following a breakup. While they seem to have fallen out of fashion from about 1990 on, in recent years, some labels, such as Frontiers Music, have been reinvigorating the idea, albeit with mixed results. Whereas in 1980 a recording producer could play Nikola Tesla with a lab full of exciting new elements and concepts, today that is less so the case. It may be less Tesla, and more of opening up the pantry to see if there is anything to throw together which may resemble dinner. In fact, sometimes today when semi-retired veterans are put into a studio to do an album, many songs feel a bit like reheated leftovers, perhaps unused ideas from yesteryear which may have been better left on the cutting room floor.

Penguin is the seventh studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in March 1973. It was the first Fleetwood Mac album after the departure of Danny Kirwan, the first to feature Bob Weston and the only one to feature Dave Walker.
The penguin is the band mascot favoured by John McVie. His fascination with the birds originated when he lived near London Zoo during the early days of his marriage to Christine McVie. He was a member of the Zoological Society and would spend hours at the zoo studying and watching the penguins.
