Dark Light is the fifth studio album by Finnish gothic rock band HIM. Released on 26 September 2005, HIM began recording the album in March 2005 at the Paramour Estate is Los Angeles with producer Tim Palmer, who had also mixed the band's previous album Love Metal. In Finland, however, the album was released under the band's own label Heartagram. Produced by Morten Veland, it was mastered and mixed by Endre Kirkesola at Dub Studios in Norway.

The 13th Floor is the fourth studio album by Norwegian gothic metal band Sirenia and their first with Spanish vocalist Ailyn. It was released on 23 January 2009, through Nuclear Blast. The band said "The album features guest appearances by Jan Kenneth Barkved (who had also made some guest appearances on our debut, [and] French violin player Stephanie Valentin adds to the sound along with the choir that has been a part of our sound since the very beginning." The album was released in three formats: CD, CD-Digi and box set. The box set edition was restricted to 500 copies worldwide. The download-only single, "The Path to Decay", was released on 26 December 2008.

Они так никогда и не получили такого признания, как прочие коллеги по цеху, Metallica, Megadeth или тот же Anthrax, из которого ушёл в своё время Дэн Лилкер в поисках более тяжёлого звучания. Хотя были популярны в своё время, смешав хардкор с трэшем, задолго до того, как это стало модно. А "Handle With Care" – одно из их высочайших достижений. Несколько странно это звучит, когда банда, называющая себя Ядерным Ударом, поёт о том, что так безоглядно нарушать экологию планеты, но альбому уже как лет пятнадцать, а он всё ещё по-боевому звучит, да и тема актуальна, как никогда
