Christ Illusion is the tenth studio album by American thrash metal band Slayer, released on August 8, 2006 by American Recordings. It was the band's first album featuring all four original members with their drummer Dave Lombardo since Seasons in the Abyss (1990), and also marked the first time since Divine Intervention (1994) that they recorded songs in Eb tuning. The songs "Jihad", "Flesh Storm", "Catalyst", and "Consfearacy" were recorded in Eb tuning, while "Catatonic", "Eyes of the Insane", "Skeleton Christ", and "Supremist" were recorded in Drop B tuning and "Black Serenade" and "Cult" in C♯ tuning.

Stranger in Us All is the eighth studio album by the reformed British hard rock band Rainbow, released in 1995. Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore put together a new version of Rainbow with little-known musicians in 1994. It was originally intended to be his solo album, but due to the label BMG pressures, the record was billed as Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. This line-up only released the one album before Blackmore decided to pursue different musical styles and formed Blackmore's Night with his companion Candice Night. As such, this album marked his final rock and roll recordings for two decades, before putting together a reincarnation of Rainbow in 2016. The album takes its name from a line in the song "Black Masquerade".

From September to December 1999, the band rented the house Weimar in Heiligendamm on the Baltic Sea for pre-production. The sound recordings took place in May and June 2000 at Studio Miraval in southern France. Already over Christmas 2000, Rammstein released the song Links 2 3 4 on their website for download. In January 2001 the video was released, in February the single Sonne.

No More Tears is the sixth studio album by British heavy metal vocalist and songwriter Ozzy Osbourne. Released on 17 September 1991, the album charted at number 17 on the UK Albums Chart and number seven on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. No More Tears spawned four songs which reached the top ten of the US Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, including the number two "Mama, I'm Coming Home", and it contains the Grammy-winning track "I Don't Want to Change the World". It is also one of Osbourne's two best-selling albums in North America, along with Blizzard of Ozz, having been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA and double platinum by CRIA. It was the last Ozzy Osbourne album to feature drummer Randy Castillo and bassist Bob Daisley.

Bark at the Moon is the only Ozzy Osbourne album on which the songwriting is credited entirely to Osbourne. However, guitarist Jake E. Lee maintains that he composed a significant amount of the album’s music but was cheated out of his writing and publishing claims by Osbourne’s wife and manager Sharon. Lee claims that after he had composed the songs and completed recording his parts in the studio, he was presented with a contract which stated that he would have no claim to any writing or publishing relating to the album. The contract also stated that Lee could not mention this publicly. Lee claims he signed the contract because he had no legal representation and because Sharon threatened to fire him and have another guitarist re-record his parts if he refused.

Uneasy Listening Vol. 2 released on 20 April 2007 in Germany & Ireland, the 24th/25th in Finland and the rest of Europe, and on 22 May in the United States. As with Uneasy Listening Vol. 1, the album contains rare tracks and alternate versions of previously released tracks. The album's artwork is by Finnish artist Natas Pop
The "616" and The "Hollovlad Tepes" versions are re-recordings of the demos for their respective songs.

Bastards is the eleventh album by the British band Motörhead, released in 1993 on ZYX Records, and it is their first studio album they recorded with the short-lived Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Mikkey Dee lineup. It was also the first of four Motörhead albums that were produced by Howard Benson.

Stained Class is the only Judas Priest album to feature songwriting by all five members of the band, however it was at this point where Glenn Tipton became the band's primary lead guitarist; from this point forward, he would mostly share songwriting duties with Rob Halford. K.K. Downing's only standalone performances on Stained Class are "Savage" and the second solo on "Heroes End", with the rest of the album either featuring Tipton exclusively or duets between the two. Newly added drummer Les Binks earned a songwriting credit on 'Beyond The Realms Of Death' for composing the acoustic intro.

Point of Entry is the seventh album from the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was released on 26 February 1981.
In 1980 Judas Priest garnered some airplay with "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight" from their album British Steel. As a result the band pursued a more melodic, radio friendly direction on Point of Entry. However, the demo version of "On the Run" was not so radio friendly. It had "different lyrics, speed-metal pace, and spit-fire fast vocals."
