На этот раз музыканты особенно уделили внимание бас гитаре – она звучит очень ожесточённо и чётко, альбом сбивает с ног своей необузданной энергией и динамичностью. Так, среди обычного треш метала, проходят элементы спида, который уже был и на дебютном диске, но здесь, благодаря общему поднявшемуся техническому уровню, стал ещё более заметным. Из нововведений стоит сказать о появлении нетипичных для данного стиля неоклассических гитарных соло партий, звучащих красиво и воздушно, чего не скажешь об общем гитарном настрое, как будто втаптывающем в землю своей бензопильностью и строгой отлаженностью.

Оставшись вдвоем, вокалист и ударник притащили к себе в компанию гитаристов Джеймса Мерфи и Джея Веслорда и басиста Ричарда Бэйтмана, с которыми смогли отыграть на европейских гастролях. Турне прошло довольно успешно, однако по окончании его банда развалилась. Возрождение «Agent steel» произошло только в 1999-м, когда группа выступила на «Wacken open air». Новый состав выглядел следующим образом: Брюс Холл (вокал), Хуан Гарсиа (гитара), Берни Верси (гитара), Карл Медина (бас) и Чак Профус (ударные).«Agent steel» начали с записи трека «Beyond the realms of death» для пластинки посвященной «Judas priest», а затем разродились камбэк-альбомом «Omega conspiracy». На The Revolution By Night были использованы электронные ударные и даже саксофон! В качестве сессионщика был привлечён сам Aldo Nova. Немного разбавили рок с попсятинкой, но с кем не бывает.

GHV2 (an abbreviation of Greatest Hits Volume 2) is the second greatest hits album by American recording artist Madonna. It was released by Maverick and Warner Bros. Records on November 13, 2001, coinciding with the video album, Drowned World Tour 2001. A follow-up to The Immaculate Collection (1990), GHV2 contains a collection of singles during the second decade of Madonna's career. Madonna mentioned that she only included "songs that I could listen to five times in a row" on it. The album did not contain any new songs, but a promotional single titled "GHV2 Megamix" was released, which contained remixes by Thunderpuss, John Rocks & Mac Quayle and Tracy Young. A promotional remix album was also issued, titled GHV2 Remixed: The Best of 1991–2001.
