Скорее, наоборот появился оптимизм, пока еще не такой, как в "Breathless", но уже хорошо заметный. Только изредка нет-нет, да и проскользнет грустная нотка.Если "Camel '73" тяготел к инструменталам, то этот практически из них состоит, вокал настолько редок, что наличие вокалистов в группе почти забывается, зато альбом радует развернутыми соло на всех возможных инструментах и некоторым количеством звуковых эффектов (например, звуком открывающейся пивной банки и последующего выливания из нее пива).Второй альбом с полным правом можно назвать шедевром. Он не был замечен в год выпуска, но впоследствии его часто называли вершиной творчества Camel. И действительно, такой динамики, гармоничности и вместе с тем цельности редко удается добиться.

В 1991 году под руководством продюсера Рэйфа МакКенны (Rafe McKenna, FOREIGNER, Giant, BAD COMPANY) Fair Warning записывают одноименный дебютный альбом, после чего отправляются в турне по Германии вместе с Giant. Почти сразу после возвращения с гастролей группа выпускает еще одну пластинку, на этот раз, правда, миньон ''In The Ghetto''. Gary Hughes. Just better. ... Gary Hughes started playing guitar when he was 9 years old and claimed as a schoolboy at Sale Boys' Grammar School to have composed Stairway to Heaven. His musical career started in 1989 when Hughes released his first album, Big Bad Wolf (renamed and re-released with extra tracks in 1992 as Strength of Heart) through the Polygram Oslo label in Germany and Norway. In 1992, Hughes signed with the then newly formed Now & Then Records and his forthcoming self titled album was the first one released on that label.

Truth is the official full-length version of the demo album of the same name released by Christian rock singer and Stryper frontman Michael Sweet, two years before (1998). This version was released by Restless Records in 2000. The first demo version of the album, sold independently through Sweet's website, did very well selling 25,000 units. This prompted several labels to seek the rights to release it.
