No Rest for the Wicked is the fifth studio album by English heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. It was released on September 28, 1988, and was re-issued / remastered on August 22, 1995, and again on June 25, 2002. The album was certified gold in December 1988 and has since gone double platinum. It peaked at number 13 on the Billboard 200. It was the first album to feature guitarist Zakk Wylde, keyboardist John Sinclair and the first to feature bassist Bob Daisley since Bark at the Moon.

Nach der Trennung von Jake E. Lee 1987 fand Ozzy Osbourne in Zakk Wylde den dauerhaftesten Ersatz für den 1982 verstorbenen Randy Rhoads, für den 1987 zum fünften Todestag auch das Tribute-Album veröffentlicht worden war. Außerdem war Osbourne 1988 im Dokumentarfilm The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years aufgetreten. Zum im selben Jahr folgenden, mit Keith Olsen aufgenommenen Album No Rest for the Wicked schrieb Bassist Bob Daisley die Texte mit. Auf der folgenden Tour war jedoch Ex-Black-Sabbath-Kollege Geezer Butler am Bass zu hören. Der Auftritt beim Moscow Music Peace Festival und eine Live-EP namens Just Say Ozzy folgten. Das Albumcover von No Rest for the Wicked zeigt ein Bild, das dem Video zu Crazy Babies entnommen ist, das auf MTV häufig gespielt wurde. Auch zu Breaking All the Rules und Miracle Man wurden Musikvideos gedreht.

No Rest for the Wicked is the recording debut of lead guitarist Zakk Wylde. After firing lead guitarist Jake E. Lee in 1987, Osbourne received a demo tape from Wylde and later hired him after an audition.
Bassist/lyricist Bob Daisley made his return to Osbourne's band after the two had a falling out in 1985. Once the album's recording was complete, Daisley was once again out, replaced by Osbourne's former Black Sabbath bandmate Geezer Butler for subsequent promotional tours.

Down to Earth is the eighth studio album by British heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. Released on 16 October 2001, it reached number 19 on the UK Albums Chart and number four on the US Billboard 200. "The Ozzfest was doing well", Osbourne explained. "I just wanted to be like the Grateful Dead and keep it going by touring, but the record company said they'd like a new Ozzy album."

Down to Earth ist das achte Studioalbum des Musikers Ozzy Osbourne. Es wurde am 16. Oktober 2001 veröffentlicht. In den USA erreichte es 2003 Platinstatus, war aber weniger erfolgreich als die Vorgängeralben. Promise is the second studio album by English band Sade, released in the United Kingdom on 4 November 1985 by Epic Records and in the United States on 15 November 1985 by Portrait Records. Recording for the album began in February and lasted until August 1985. The band co-produced the album with the same team of producers they worked with on their debut album, Diamond Life, including Robin Millar, Mike Pela and Ben Rogan. The album's title comes from a letter from Sade Adu's father where he refers to the "promise of hope" to recover from cancer.

Diary of a Madman is the second studio album by British heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. It was released on 7 November 1981, and re-issued on CD on 22 August 1995. This is the last Osbourne studio album to feature guitarist Randy Rhoads and drummer Lee Kerslake. An altered version appeared in 2002 with the original bass and drum parts removed and re-recorded. In 2011, a Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition was released with all original parts restored. To date, the album has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.

Diary of a Madman is the final album recorded with late guitarist Randy Rhoads. Although bassist Rudy Sarzo and drummer Tommy Aldridge are credited in the liner notes and pictured on the inner sleeve for the American vinyl and cassette release and later CD re-issues, it was bassist Bob Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake who performed all bass and drum parts on the original release. Aldridge has stated of the album, "I think it's pretty obvious that it's not my drumming on that album. I have never taken credit for that recording and have always given Lee Kerslake, whenever asked or interviewed, the credit he rightly deserves."

Beim Einspielen von Diary of a Madman musste sich die Band aufgrund der anstehenden Touraktivitäten beeilen. Dies ist dem Album anzumerken. So wurde etwa versäumt, die Version von Rhoads’ Gitarrensolo in Little Dolls durch die eigentlich zur Veröffentlichung bestimmte zu ersetzen. Die Balladen wirken zum Teil länger als nötig. Kurz vor der Veröffentlichung des Albums wurden Bob Daisley (Bass) und Lee Kerslake (Schlagzeug), die es eingespielt hatten, durch Rudy Sarzo und Tommy Aldridge ersetzt. Letztere kamen auch auf das Albumcover. Auch der dort genannte Don Airey war laut Aussage Bob Daisleys in einem Interview nicht beteiligt, eingespielt habe die Keyboards Johnny Cook.
