The Scorpions on the other hand have been quite judicious with their live releases with only seven live albums including two unplugged ones in their 60 year career. That being said, the Scorpions have had quite a few live DVD releases with apparently nine in a 15 year span from 2001 to 2016 but to me, those don’t count for “live album” releases. Given the Scorpions‘ likely calculated restraint when it comes to releasing live records, it was a no brainer for me to pick up Coming Home Live. The Scorpions‘ setlist for Coming Home Live is very similar to the one when I had last seen them play live in Toronto back in 2022. The main difference between the legendary group’s setlists from 2022 to the 60th Anniversary show, that resulted in Coming Home Live, are that many of the new songs from the band’s latest album Rock Believer that made the cut in 2022 — “Seventh Sun”, “Peacemaker” and “Rock Believer” — made way for classics “Coming Home” (a shortened version), “Loving You Sunday Morning” and “I’m Leaving You” along with a medley of 70s tracks consisting of “Top of The Bill”, “Steamrock Fever”, “Speedy’s Coming” and “Catch Your Train”. The other main difference setlist wise is that the hit “No One Like You” was inexplicably dropped in favour of the ballad “Still Loving You”.
