Pipes of Peace is the fourth solo studio album by the English singer-songwriter Paul McCartney. It was released on 31 October 1983. As the follow-up to the popular Tug of War, the album came close to matching the commercial success of its predecessor in Britain but peaked only at number 15 on America's Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart. While Pipes of Peace was the source of international hit singles such as "Say Say Say" (recorded with Michael Jackson) and the title track, the critical response to the album was less favourable than that afforded to Tug of War.

Flowers in the Dirt is the eighth solo studio album by Paul McCartney. The album was released on 5 June 1989 on Parlophone, as he was embarking on his first world tour since the Wings Over the World tour in 1975–76. It earned McCartney some of his best reviews for an album of original songs since Tug of War (1982). The album made number one in the United Kingdom and Norway and produced several hit singles (the first being "My Brave Face"). The album artwork was a collaboration between artist Brian Clarke, who painted the canvas and arranged the flowers, and Linda McCartney, who produced the cover photography.

Penguin is the seventh studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in March 1973. It was the first Fleetwood Mac album after the departure of Danny Kirwan, the first to feature Bob Weston and the only one to feature Dave Walker.
The penguin is the band mascot favoured by John McVie. His fascination with the birds originated when he lived near London Zoo during the early days of his marriage to Christine McVie. He was a member of the Zoological Society and would spend hours at the zoo studying and watching the penguins.

Первые годы нового, пост-вирджиновского периода, были в основном посвящены работой над многочисленными саундтреками. Это было настоящей эпидемией - фильм следовал за фильмом и времени для студийной работы уже не оставалось. Конечно же, многое из созданного в тот период группой иначе как халтурой не назовешь, однако были в их багаже и вполне приличные работы. Удалась звуковая дорожка к фильму "OST Firestarter" - "Зажигающая взглядом" по Стивену Кингу - коллекция напряженных, тревожных ритмов в духе ранних работ группы.

Мне остается подписаться под всеми комплиментами в адрес диска - он идеален. Особенно стоит отметить то, насколько непохожими получились песни. Пластинка наглядно демонстрирует, что AOR - очень разнообразный стиль, могущий оперировать разными настроениями и чувствами.

Comes a Time is the ninth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young, released in 1978. It is a return to the country/folk rock sound of Harvest (1972). "Comes a Time" is also the title song and a single release from the album.The album originally started out as a solo record, but when Young played it for Reprise executives they asked him if he would consider adding rhythm tracks to what he already had. Young agreed, and the end product was Comes a Time. Two songs ("Look Out For My Love" and "Lotta Love") were backed by Crazy Horse."Human Highway" was written several years prior to the album's release, and originally presented to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young in 1974 for a proposed studio album by the group which never came to be.[citation needed] Much of the album features harmony vocals from Nicolette Larson.
