Вторая часть рок-оперы по мотивам самого известного мифа Британии была выпущена чуть позже в том же году. Честно говоря, сложно понять, почему Гэри Хьюз разделил свое произведение на 2 отдельных альбома. Построена она исключительно по подобию первой и не уступает ей ни в чем. Поэтому, все сказанное о первой части можно смело экстраполировать и на ее продолжение. Здесь мы услышим несколько новых героев, как-то: Ди Си Купер (в роли одного из королей викингов), Дуги Уайт (Мордред), Сабина Эдельбахер (Нимуэ) и Гарри Хесс (рассказчик в эпилоге). Все эти известные в мире рок-музыки личности справились со своими ролями на пять с плюсом. Особенно выделю почти металлическую "Kill the King" с Купером на вокале, лирическую балладу-надежду "I Still Love You (I Still Do)" и хард-роковую арию Мордреда "Demon Down". Впрочем, все это довольно условно и все остальные композиции не слабее. Да, еще один момент, - что касается оформления, то вторая часть даже превосходит первую. Обладатели лицензионной версии, думаю, меня поймут. Спасибо всем музыкантам за столь замечательное произведение.

Что же касается музыкальной составляющей, то она претерпела ряд изменений, и, по моему мнению, в лучшую сторону. Музыка наполнилась эпическими элементами и экспериментальными уклонами. И, смело можно сказать, что ни один из экспериментов не провалился. Хоралы в треках 2, 3 и 10, акустическое вступление в "Slaying The Prophets Ov Isa", "At the Left Hand ov God", величественные и воинственные партии саксофона в "Kriegsphilosophie" и "Christgrinding Avenue" придают песням дополниетльную изюминку, создавая на "The Apostasy" более величественную и воинственную атмосферу, чем на всех предыдущих с 1999 года опусах польских музыкантов. Особенно необычной выглядит "Inner Sanctum" с использованием фортепиано и чистого вокала.

The song's piano melody was composed by guitarist Tony Iommi, who was experimenting with the instrument in the studio. The lyrics were by bassist Geezer Butler, and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne has referred to the song as "heartbreaking". Quite different from Sabbath's previous work, the song was described as a "forlornly pretty" ballad by critic Barney Hoskyns. It was inspired mainly by Bill Ward's breakup with his first wife.

Instead of releasing the live document of the We Can't Dance tour as a double CD, Genesis, or some clever record executive, decided to split the material into two separate releases. The first would focus on the group's pop singles, while the second would contain their longer, more progressive work. Done this way, it's difficult to get a sense of the concert's momentum: Even the songs on each disc are shuffled from their original live order. For what it's worth, Volume One: The Shorts contains almost all the Genesis singles from 1983-1992. The band rarely stray from the studio versions of their material, and with the audience barely audible and a greatest hits collection released in 1999, the record is superfluous for all but the most die-hard fans.

...And Then There Were Three... is the ninth studio album by the English rock band Genesis. It was released in March 1978 by Charisma Records and is their first recorded as a trio of singer and drummer Phil Collins, keyboardist Tony Banks, and bassist and guitarist Mike Rutherford following the departure of guitarist Steve Hackett.
