The song's piano melody was composed by guitarist Tony Iommi, who was experimenting with the instrument in the studio. The lyrics were by bassist Geezer Butler, and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne has referred to the song as "heartbreaking". Quite different from Sabbath's previous work, the song was described as a "forlornly pretty" ballad by critic Barney Hoskyns. It was inspired mainly by Bill Ward's breakup with his first wife.

Instead of releasing the live document of the We Can't Dance tour as a double CD, Genesis, or some clever record executive, decided to split the material into two separate releases. The first would focus on the group's pop singles, while the second would contain their longer, more progressive work. Done this way, it's difficult to get a sense of the concert's momentum: Even the songs on each disc are shuffled from their original live order. For what it's worth, Volume One: The Shorts contains almost all the Genesis singles from 1983-1992. The band rarely stray from the studio versions of their material, and with the audience barely audible and a greatest hits collection released in 1999, the record is superfluous for all but the most die-hard fans.

...And Then There Were Three... is the ninth studio album by the English rock band Genesis. It was released in March 1978 by Charisma Records and is their first recorded as a trio of singer and drummer Phil Collins, keyboardist Tony Banks, and bassist and guitarist Mike Rutherford following the departure of guitarist Steve Hackett. The album marked a change in the band's sound, mixing elements of their progressive rock roots with more pop-oriented and commercially accessible music, and Collins contributing to more of the group's song writing.

An unwieldy four-disc, 52-track box set, Under Wheels of Confusion: 1970-1987 nevertheless contains the bulk of Black Sabbath's best work, dipping considerably in quality during the second half of the set, when Ozzy Osbourne left the group and was replaced by Ronnie James Dio. Even though all of the stone-cold classics are here, as are all of Dio's best tracks, Sabbath remains best appreciated through their original albums, which capture the essence of the metal giants much better than this box.

Лидером группы является клавишник Грегг Джиофрия. Его первая группа Angel была антиподом KISS (хотя они и были подписаны на один лейбл) в 70-х. Несмотря на классный помп-роковый материал (не хуже Styx), славы большой не случилось - всего пара "золотых" альбомов, вот и все. В 80-х Грегг создал группу имени себя - Giuffria, которая выпустила пару альбомов (отличных, между прочим), но опять же не снискавших большой славы.При помощи своего приятеля Джина Симмонса, Грегг сколотил новую группу. Среди участников вполне известный Чак Райт, к примеру, а для записи альбома был приглашен статусный звукорежиссер Энди Джонс (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, KISS). Все-таки, у Симмонса есть чутье на таланты...
