Кстати говоря, Зено носит фамилию Рот не случайно, ибо является младшим братишкой того самого легендарного Ули Джона Рота, который некогда числился в составах Scorpions и Electric Sun. Вот такая получилась гитарная семейка. Возвращаясь к альбому, хочется отметить, что из шестнадцати треков (три из них – бонусы, а некоторые вещи – инструменталы) сложно выделить как стопроцентные хиты, так и откровенные проходняки: все песни по-своему хороши и могут понравится широкому кругу любителей не слишком тяжелой музыки. Зено Рот не только написал все композиции и лирику с христианским подтекстом, сыграл на гитарах, басу и клавишных, но также спел бэк-вокальные партии, смикшировал пластинку и даже поучаствовал в рисовании обложки. Можно только поаплодировать столь многогранным талантам парня с белым "стратокастером".

Теперь состав - в него влились (вместо ушедшего Dan Mitchell) сразу два молодых дарования Dann Rosingana и Steve Grocott - гитаристы не сильно известные, но, судя по записи, крепкие, каждый со своей манерой исполнения. Главный композитор группы Gary Hughes решил оставить гитару и сосредоточиться на пении, а три гитариста (с учётом ветерана John Halliwell) призваны полностью передавать студийный звук во время живых выступлений. Но и в студии ребята не подкачали. Гитарная работа - это то, чем наслаждаешься в новом альбоме от первой до последней песни.

A World of Fools is the third album from Italian’s Lionville who are led by guitarist Stefano Lionetti and once again features the lead vocals of Swede Lars Safsund. This one is perhaps a tad beefier than its predecessors but not dramatically so, it is still pure AOR. Getting Safsund involved has always elevated the impact of this band and yet again he delivers a dynamic and emotive performance. For me Safsund is one of the best AOR vocalists of the modern era, his vocals are impeccable, beautifully melodic and more importantly they convey the emotion of the songs in an extremely stirring way.

Fire In The Night. Another great release by Hugo. This guy has a phenominal voice. His first solo cd is still the best, but I'd have to say this one is in a close second. this is not quite as good as the debut, but beats the follow up hands down. A harder more rocking affair that will appeal to fans of Journey (sorry Freaky), Hugo, Valentine etc.An excellent blend of rockers and smoulding ballads.

Причина номер два - хваленый студийный бонус не представляет из себя абсолютно ничего особенного. Просто пять довольно стандартных песен. Выделяется только ураганный боевик от, как всегда великолепного, Эйса, под названием "Rocket Ride". Причина номер три (она же самая главная) - игра музыкантов. Прописная истина гласит - если к тебе приходит успех и деньги можно начинать играть похабно, все равно уже никто этого замечать не будет. Разница между энергетикой и задором на первой и второй частях "Alive" просто огромна. Но!

Station to Station is the 10th studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 23 January 1976 by RCA Records. In early 1975, Bowie moved to Los Angeles, California to shoot a role for Nicolas Roeg's film The Man Who Fell to Earth. His role in the film would heavily influence him and his next onstage persona for the rest of the year. Having developed an addiction to cocaine the previous year, Bowie's mental state deteriorated rapidly during his time in the city, affecting numerous personal relationships. Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps), also known simply as Scary Monsters, is the 14th studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 12 September 1980 by RCA Records. Over the previous three years, Bowie had garnered massive artistic success with the "Berlin Trilogy", which consisted of Low, "Heroes" and Lodger (1977–1979).
