Данный альбом стоит особняком в дискографии группы. На мой взгляд, он наиболее всего подвержен влиянию heavy metal, который в те годы господствовал в мире. При работе над «Afterburner» участники группы смогли органично вписать в свой самобытный блюзовый hard rock элементы наиболее модного в 80-е годы стиля. В результате от них не отвернулись старые поклонники а, наоборот, к ним присоединились новые более молодые слушатели.

Пожалуй самый известный бутлег Хэммилла, благодаря хорошему для бутлега качеству записи (записан не из аудитории), сильному набору песен (кроме сольных, Хэммилл играет ещё и несколько классных ВдГГшных композиций) и как всегда эмоциональному и выразительному исполнению Хэммилла. Песни он играет один, акустически, на пианино и гитаре. Для сольных песен это не неожиданность, но такое аскетическое исполнение сложных номеров ВдГГ вроде Still Life и A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers необычно и придаёт песням особую напряжённую выразительность.

The Glitter Band are a glam rock band from England, who initially worked as Gary Glitter's backing band under that name from 1973, when they then began releasing records of their own. They were unofficially known as the Glittermen on the first four hit singles by Gary Glitter from 1972 to 1973.
The Glitter Band had seven UK Top 20 hit singles in the mid-1970s, and three hit albums. Pete Phipps and John Springate are still currently touring with The Glitter Band. John Rossall and Harvey Ellison tour under their own names.

This album is wonderful. It is truly blues at its best. It is early Fleetwood Mac but entirely different than what you may be use to. I would recommend this not only to Fleetwood Mac's fans but to anyone who truly loves the blues. Black Magic Woman is one of the songs on this album and keep in mind they recorded it before Carlos Santana. I swear you will not be disappointed.

Behind the Mask is the 15th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in 1990. It was the first album released by the band after the departure of guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. He was replaced by Billy Burnette and Rick Vito, both guitar players, singers and songwriters. Fleetwood Mac thus became a six-piece band with four singer/songwriters. The album was not as successful as its predecessor, Tango in the Night, nor did it spawn any big hit singles although "Save Me" made the US Top 40, while "Love Is Dangerous" and "Skies the Limit" enjoyed some airplay. "Save Me" and "Skies the Limit" were much more successful in Canada, where they both reached the Top 30. Though it barely reached the US Top 20, the album entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1 and achieved platinum status there. Following the album's release and subsequent world tour, bandmembers Stevie Nicks and Rick Vito left the band, though Nicks would rejoin in 1997.

Lodger is the thirteenth studio album by English singer-songwriter David Bowie, released in 1979. The last of the 'Berlin Trilogy' recorded in collaboration with Brian Eno, it was produced in Switzerland and New York City, and was more accessible than its immediate predecessors Low and "Heroes", having no instrumentals and being somewhat lighter and more pop-oriented. It was still an experimental record in many ways and was not, by Bowie's standards, a major commercial success. Indifferently received by critics on its initial release, it is now widely considered, along with other albums such as Diamond Dogs, to be one of Bowie's most underrated albums.
