Everybody's Rockin' is the 13th studio album by Canadian musician Neil Young, released on August 1, 1983. The album was recorded with the Shocking Pinks (a band made up just for the occasion), and features a selection of rockabilly songs (both covers and original material). Running 25 minutes, it is Young's shortest album. Everybody's Rockin' is typical of his 1980s period in that it bears little or no resemblance to the album released before it (Trans (1982), a synth-heavy, electro-rock album), nor the one released after it (Old Ways (1985), which is pure country).

Restless Heart is the ninth studio album by English hard rock band Whitesnake, released by EMI on 26 March 1997 in Japan and 26 May in Europe. It was produced by the band's vocalist David Coverdale and originally conceived as a solo album. However, EMI pressured him into releasing the record under the moniker "David Coverdale & Whitesnake". Musically Restless Heart features a more subdued sound compared to Whitesnake's previous two albums. It is also the only full-length Whitesnake studio album to feature guitarist Adrian Vandenberg throughout, despite having been a member of the group since 1987.

Luck and Strange is the fifth studio album by the English guitarist and songwriter David Gilmour, released on 6 September 2024 by Sony Music. It was produced by Gilmour and Charlie Andrew.
Gilmour's wife, novelist Polly Samson, wrote most of the lyrics, which she said addressed mortality and aging. Their children contributed additional vocals, lyrics and instrumentation. The song "Luck and Strange" features keyboards recorded in 2007 by the Pink Floyd keyboardist, Richard Wright, who died in 2008. The album also features a cover of the 1999 song "Between Two Points", originally by the British band the Montgolfier Brothers.

Кто не слышал Bonfire, тот не слышал настоящего хард рока – примерно так можно было сказать об этих ребятах десяток лет назад, в последнее время они только и следовали моде ударившихся в новомодные дебри утяжеления звука. Но как показала их новая работа «Double X» - утяжеление пошло только на пользу, особенно когда ребята насочиняли мощнейшего и добротнейшего хард рока в духе восьмидесятых! Услышав первую песню «Day 911» музыканты просто выбили меня из колеи – такого, чуть ли не хеви металического угара, от них мне не доводилось слушать уже давненько, хотя на втором уже треке всё вернулось на свою колею – энергичный и напористый, сочный и добрый хард приятно лился из колонок, словно наполняю душу мягким светом. Конечно, вряд ли на «Double X» вы услышите какие-то откровения – это как и с Axel Rudi Pell – всё по-старому, но зато на высоком и достойном уровне. Великолепнейший вокал, идеальное качество записи, чисто хардовые, незамороченные тексты, тяжёлая ритм секция – ну разве не этого ждут все поклонники группы?

В целом пластинка не изобилирует какой-то суперритмичностью, которая бы заставляла вашего внутреннего мамонта вытаптывать ямы в полу. Однако на диске есть такие вещи как “In My Pocket” и “San Francisco Blue”, у которых все в порядке с четким как гопота ритмом и яркой пульсацией. Обратные этим песням композиции - “All of My Life” и “Butterfly and Zebra” - легкие, умиротворяющие баллады, растекающиеся как соплячки по Джареду Лето. Если говорить о технике, то Джо старается варьировать, особо не углубляясь в шред. Тем не менее наиболее пилильные композиции - это “Cataclysmic” и “A Phase I'm Going Through”.
