Robin Ericsson (vocals/bass) stated: “We’ve been writing songs for this album on and off since the release of We Don’t Belong in 2013. I think we had 16-17 songs that we chose from, and recorded 14. The funny thing is that we ended up putting all 14 songs on the album because they’re all so freakin’ good! История группы Dreamtide началась несколько лет назад, после того, как вокалист немецкой формации FAIR WARNING Томми Харт ушел из группы, дабы создать новый проект SOUL DOCTOR. В итоге от FAIR WARNING остались гитарист Хельге Энгельке и ударник Си Си Беренс, которые пригласили в компанию клавишника Торстена Людервальда (с которым были знакомы по совместным концерным выступлениям), басиста Оле Хемпельманна (ex-THUNDERHEAD) и малоизвестного вокалиста Олафа Сенкбайля и взяли имя DREAMTIDE. Дебютный диск новорожденной группы вышел в 2001-ом году в Мекке мелодичного харда Frontiers Rec. Если говорить об инспирациях, то, в первую очередь, конечно же, в голову приходят сравнения с FAIR WARNING, PINK CREAM 69 и TEN. Третий диск коллектива "Dream And Deliever" демонстрирует классический мелодик-хард, где наличествуют красивые мелодии, разумное сочетание немецкой тяжести, динамичности и мелодизма, блестящие аранжировки. Originally released exclusively in the band's home market (the UK), the album sold very well, becoming the ELO's first Top Ten entry since Dino Record's compilation album The Very Best of the Electric Light Orchestra hit number 4 in 1994. All Over the World sold over 300,000 copies in the UK alone within a year and a half of its release. The albums The Electric Light Orchestra, ELO 2, Eldorado, and Balance of Power were not represented on the compilation.

Ekseption was a Dutch rock band active from 1967 to 1989, playing mostly-instrumental progressive rock and classical rock. The central character in the changing roster, and the only band member present on every album, was conservatory-trained trumpeter Rein van den Broek (10 September 1945 - 11 May 2015). The band saw some commercial success in the 1970s, having Dutch top ten hit singles with their adaptations of Beethoven's "Fifth" and Bach's (Celebrated) "Air". The second album, Beggar Julia's Time Trip (1969), won the Dutch Edison Award for album of the year, and the first five albums all went gold.
