Pandemonium plays like a victory lap for Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. And why not, after the 2009 they had? They kicked the year off by receiving the BRIT Award, the UK’s still-respected equivalent of a Grammy, for Outstanding Contribution to Music. Then they followed up with Yes, their tenth studio album and their most commercially and critically successful release in over a decade, and the Pandemonium tour. Pet Shop Boys have reached the stage in their career where their large fanbase warrants a video souvenir of each tour. Indeed, Pandemonium follows 2007’s Cubism, and features the same director, concert-video veteran David Barnard.

As Neil Tennant has helpfully pointed out, this album is called Introspective because all its songs are introspective. Truthfully, this isn't saying much – introspection is what Pet Shop Boys do. After all, their signature hit starts "When I look back upon my life …" and most of their great records involve a certain amount of self-reflection, which they frame with glorious disco-inspired pop. The resulting distance – the horribly familiar inability to stop questioning yourself, even in the middle of joy – used to be misread as irony. Then in 1990 the band made Behaviour, where Tennant sounded more honest and vulnerable than he ever had, and people called it their first great album. It is a great album – but for me the six long tracks of Introspective from 1988 are more rewarding.

"Rebel Yell" is a song by the English rock musician Billy Idol. It is the title track of his second studio album Rebel Yell (1983), and was released as the album's lead single in January 1984 by Chrysalis Records. Initially, it only reached No. 62 in the UK and No. 46 in the US upon its release. However, a 1985 re-issue proved to be a big hit, peaking at no. 6 in the UK. The song received wide critical acclaim and in 2009 was named the 79th best hard rock song of all time by VH1 based on a public vote.

2014 album from the veteran rocker. KINGS & QUEENS OF THE UNDERGROUND was primarily produced by Trevor Horn, with Greg Kurstin also contributing as a producer to two songs - 'Save Me Now' and the anthemic lead single, 'Can't Break Me Down.' From punk pioneer to global superstar, William Michael Albert Broad - AKA Billy Idol - has left an indelible mark in popular music and remained a household name for over three decades. His style, music, and attitude have transcended time and trends. Billy is the original punk rocker who found a way to take that sneering punk attitude into the pop and rock mainstream, carving out songs that have lasted a lifetime.

Greatest Hits is a compilation of Billy Idol's most popular singles, released by Capitol Records in 2001. The album includes two additional tracks: a live recording of one of his most popular songs, "Rebel Yell" (this live acoustic version was recorded in 1993 and appeared as a B-side for the single "Speed" in 1994), plus a new version of Idol's longtime producer Keith Forsey's "Don't You (Forget About Me)". Although Forsey originally wrote the song with Idol in mind,[citation needed] Idol turned it down and eventually the song was given to Simple Minds who would go on to make it a worldwide hit in 1985. Greatest Hits was certified platinum by the RIAA in 2005.

The album saw Idol reunite with guitarist Steve Stevens and producer Keith Forsey in the studio. All songs were written or co-written by Idol except "Plastic Jesus". The album was engineered and mixed by Brian Reeves at the Jungle Room in Los Angeles.

During the recording of the album, the crew of the TV show Bands Reunited ambushed the Jungle Room and tried to convince Billy to reunite with his old band Generation X for a one-night performance, but Idol slammed the door on them, leading to an apology by the crew.

Cyberpunk is the fifth studio album by the English rock musician Billy Idol, released on 28 June 1993 by Chrysalis Records. A concept album, it was inspired by his personal interest in technology and his first attempts to use computers in the creation of his music. Idol based the album on the cyberdelic subculture of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Heavily experimental in its style, the album was an attempt to take control of the creative process in the production of his albums, while simultaneously introducing Idol's fans and other musicians to the opportunities presented by digital media.

Charmed Life is the fourth studio album by the English rock musician Billy Idol, released on 30 April 1990 by Chrysalis Records. Like its predecessor, Whiplash Smile (1986), the album shows a more emotional side of Idol, but with a more organic and less technologically dependent sound. It is primarily a hard rock album, but experiments with other genres, such as jazz on "Endless Sleep" and electro-blues on "Trouble With The Sweet Stuff."

Violence Has Arrived marks a major shift in GWAR’s sound. Due to their collective distaste for the comedic punk direction of 1999’s We Kill Everything, Violence showcases a more tightly-focused and heavier thrash sound than the band’s previous albums. Most of the songs feature brutal medieval overtones and poetic lyrics, with occassional sprinklings of GWAR’s trademark over-the-top humor. Violence is the only GWAR album to feature future Rise Against member Zach Blair as Flattus Maximus.

Live & Well is the sixteenth studio album by B. B. King released in 1969. It consists of five tracks recorded "Live" at the Village Gate in New York City, and five additional studio tracks. Explaining the album's title, producer Bill Szymczyk wrote in the liner notes, "We got together, what I consider to be, some of the best young blues musicians in the country and locked ourselves in 'The Hit Factory' for two nights. The results of those two nights are the "well" side of this album.".
