Soulful Londoner Andreya Triana is set to return in 2015 with the release of her highly anticipated album, Giants through Counter Records on March 23rd. By way of introduction, listen to her first single, Gold. Produced by Matt Hales (Lianne La Havas, Paloma Faith), Giants is an elegant melting pot of styles, sounds and themes effortlessly brought together by a voice both distinct and timeless in equal measure. Andreya also kicks off 2015 with new live dates including a sold out Lexington show on February 18th and a Village Underground show on April 2nd.

Prolific flamenco guitarist Armik reprises the lush Spanish-styled world of his 2014 release Romantic Spanish Guitar with a second volume. As on the first volume, the Iranian-born American musician matches nimble flamenco guitar flourishes with Latin percussion, accordion, and even fiddle on this 11-song set. Armik's heavily reverbed production and use of synthesizers has always kept his music just a shade away from new age (whose charts he has dominated over the years), but his smooth technique is still that of a very capable guitarist. While Romantic Spanish Guitar, Vol. 2 is no great leap for him, it's a solid release that dovetails neatly with his previous few offerings.

Alexander Hawkins is a familiar performer around London, regularly playing at venues like the Vortex and Cafe Oto, in bands with such luminaries as Louis Moholo-Moholo and Evan Parker, but this is the first recording of his regular trio. It is contemporary and exploratory whilst paying respect and gratitude those who came before. There are hints of Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, even a nod to John Taylor, as well as many pianists who are further "out there".

Production of the album was difficult, singer Marian Gold would later say "the production saw Alphaville in the horrors of permanent crisis. There was an ongoing war between [the band]. ... The furious guitar shrieks during the intro [of lead-off single "Romeos"] being a true indication of the real spirit of the production."

First Harvest 1984–92 is Alphaville's first "real" greatest-hits compilation (the 1988 compilation The Singles Collection is generally not counted by fans, consisting as it does of only four different songs, albeit with two versions each).

Stark Naked and Absolutely Live is the first official live album by Alphaville. While the Dreamscapes compilation featured a full CD of live material, its tracks were culled from many different concerts: The tracks on Stark Naked and Absolutely Live were recorded specifically for the purpose of creating the album. The final listed track, Apollo, is followed by a hidden track: an acoustic version of "Dance with Me".
