Blues on Top of Blues is the fourteenth studio album by B.B. King released in 1968 on BluesWay BLS-6011. The album reached a peak position of number 46 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.

Convivendo is the eighth album by Biagio Antonacci, published in two parts as a sign of protest against the record companies and the excessive prices of the discs, but also to try to counter the growing problem of piracy. To limit costs, prove that you can make good music and to achieve success without spending big bucks, the album was recorded in a recording studio in Bologna, the home of the singer.

"Alone" is a song by the Bee Gees. It is the opening track on the multi-platinum Still Waters album released by the Bee Gees in 1997, and the first single from the album. The song is a pop ballad written by Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb recorded in 1996. The track was a big hit worldwide, peaking at #5 in the UK and dominating the charts in Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia at #1. In the U.S. the single peaked at #28, making it their final top 40 hit in that country, after being a Billboard "Hot Shot" debut at #34.

"Got My Mojo Working" is a blues song written by Preston "Red" Foster and first recorded by Ann Cole in 1956. Muddy Waters popularized it in 1957 and the song was a feature of his performances throughout his career. A mojo is an amulet or talisman associated with hoodoo, an early African-American folk-magic belief system. Rolling Stone magazine included Waters' rendition of the song on its list of 500 Greatest Songs of All Time at number 359.

Bad Town Blues was the brain child of Adam Norton. With a set of Chicago Blues standards they cut a 4 track demo, and played their debut performance at the Colne 2000 Great British Blues Festival. The band subsequently worked all over the country on the club and festival circuit playing original blues and covers, sharing stages with acts as diverse as The Blockheads, Dr Feelgood and Otis Grand.

Amidst heavy competition, Baby Mammoth is the Pork label's most prolific act, packing in five full LPs of blunted instrumental hip-hop between their debut in late 1996 and the end of the decade. Like other Pork acts Fila Brazillia and Solid Doctor, the duo of Mark Blissenden and Andrew Burdall specialize in earthy breaks and ambient atmospheres, more slanted to the instrumental edge of acid jazz than other producer-based trip-hop acts.
