Unorthodox Jukebox is the second studio album by American recording artist Bruno Mars. Doo-Wops & Hooligans is the debut studio album by American singer Bruno Mars. It was released on October 4, 2010, by Atlantic Records and Elektra Records. Mars' writing and production team The Smeezingtons were credited with writing all songs and serve as the album's executive producers. The album's title refers to doo-wop music and was chosen to reflect simplicity, as well as appeal to both males and females. Two digital singles—"Liquor Store Blues" featuring Damian Marley and "Grenade"—were released to promote the album.

Glory is the ninth studio album by American singer Britney Spears. RCA Records released the album on August 26, 2016. It became available for pre-order on all music digital distribution platforms at midnight ET on August 3, 2016. Spears released the first single from the album, "Make Me...", on July 15, 2016. Alongside the pre-order, a new track was released, titled "Private Show", which was previously teased in the commercial for the fragrance of the same name. Since the announcement of the album, Spears has further teased the new music through the release of promotional singles "Clumsy" and "Do You Wanna Come Over?". Glory received generally positive reviews from music critics.

In April 2016 the “Bill Evans Band “ toured Europe in support of his latest release “Rise Above” (May 26th, 2016). The band played to sold out venues across Europe. “Rise Above” is Bill’s most accessible release to date (2016). On this, his 24th solo offering, Evans explores rich and haunting vocals from special guest singers, including legend Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes, JJ Grey, Anders Osborne, Murali Coryell, and Josh Dion. “This recording has been an epic journey. My vision from the beginning was to record and write with some of my favorite singers and record a different song with each one of them. The goal was to still make a cohesive and solid performance out of all this music. It went far beyond my expectations. Sheer pleasure start to finish,” says Evans.

“Heavy Blues” begins with an aggressively crunchy, “American Woman”-esque declamation before Bachman’s voice — as famous from his work with Bachman-Turner Overdrive as that guitar sound was with the great Guess Who hit — takes this song back toward more accustomed environs.
