The Return of Bruno is the debut album by actor Bruce Willis. Released by Motown in 1987, this album is an eclectic gathering of R&B music sung by Willis, with backing musicians including Booker T. Jones, Ruth Pointer and The Temptations.
The album peaked at #14 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Leadoff single "Respect Yourself" received considerable airplay, peaking at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and number 7 in the UK. Follow-up singles "Young Blood" and "Under the Boardwalk" did not fare nearly as well, peaking at #68 and #59, respectively. However, in Britain "Under the Boardwalk" was a massive success, reaching #2 in the charts and becoming the UK's 12th best-selling single of 1987.

Unorthodox Jukebox is the second studio album by American recording artist Bruno Mars. It was released by Atlantic Records on December 7, 2012, as the follow-up to Mars' 2010 debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The album was initially planned to be more "energetic" than his previous material; Unorthodox Jukebox ultimately presented a wide range of styles, such as reggae rock, disco and soul music. The singer co-wrote the whole album and worked with several past collaborators, while enlisting new producers and guest vocals. Much of Unorthodox Jukebox revolves around the theme of relationships, with more explicit lyrics and subjects than his previous material. Critical response to Unorthodox Jukebox was generally favorable; many reviewers compared the work to that of his previous album, while others deemed the lyrical content as shallow and lacking of depth.

The album's title refers to doo-wop music and was chosen to reflect simplicity, as well as appeal to both males and females. Two digital singles—"Liquor Store Blues" featuring Damian Marley and "Grenade"—were released to promote the album.

Glory is the ninth studio album by American singer Britney Spears. RCA Records released the album on August 26, 2016. It became available for pre-order on all music digital distribution platforms at midnight ET on August 3, 2016. Spears released the first single from the album, "Make Me...", on July 15, 2016. Alongside the pre-order, a new track was released, titled "Private Show", which was previously teased in the commercial for the fragrance of the same name. Since the announcement of the album, Spears has further teased the new music through the release of promotional singles "Clumsy" and "Do You Wanna Come Over?". Glory received generally positive reviews from music critics.

On this, his 24th solo offering, Evans explores rich and haunting vocals from special guest singers, including legend Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes, JJ Grey, Anders Osborne, Murali Coryell, and Josh Dion. “This recording has been an epic journey. My vision from the beginning was to record and write with some of my favorite singers and record a different song with each one of them. The goal was to still make a cohesive and solid performance out of all this music. It went far beyond my expectations. Sheer pleasure start to finish,” says Evans.
