Boys and Girls is the sixth studio solo album by Bryan Ferry, the lead vocalist for Roxy Music, released in June 1985 by E.G. Records. The album was Ferry's first solo album in seven years and his first since the second demise of Roxy Music in 1983. The album was Ferry's first and only number 1 solo album in the UK where it was certified Platinum and contains two UK top 40 hit singles.

Bread was an American soft rock band from Los Angeles, California. They placed 13 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart between 1970 and 1977 and were an example of what later was labeled as soft rock.

Award nominated Birgitte Soojin is a Korean-born, Norwegian-raised jazz vocalist. Her future as a musician was soon considered well established and very promising after her critically acclaimed debut album «Hi-Lo» was nominated for a Danish Music Award for "The Best Vocal Jazz Album Of The Year" in the fall of 2011.

My Darkness, the first full-length album by Before The Dawn, was released 23 March 2003 via Locomotive Music and features the first continuous band line up: Tuomas – guitar and growls, Panu Willman – guitar & clean vocals, Mika Ojala – keyboards, drummer Dani Miettinen and bass player Toni Broman. "Unbreakable", "Take My Pain", "Undone" and "Alone" are the 4 songs from the previous unreleased EP, but the titular song received most of the attention and was also included in the "Dynamite" compilation #35 CD of German "Rock Hard" magazine. This track remains the "evergreen" in the Before The Dawn live repertoire to this day.

Sweetening the deal even further, former vocalist and Ulver mastermind Kristoffer ‘Garm' Rygg has returned to contribute a spot of vocals, sending expectations for this latest offering sky-high. Fortunately for everyone, Borknagar has delivered, with Winter Thrice providing a thoroughly satisfying slab of music. There's simply no capacity in which this album is a let down. Need to quench your thirst for progressive songwriting alongside suitably blackened riffage? Borknagar have catered to that in spades. Are subtle choirs and grandiosity more your thing? Such techniques are peppered throughout, adorning the swells of exciting cadences and somber passages alike. Even with everything that's going on, the atmosphere remains open and inviting, lacking the suffocating quality that often plagues similar acts.
