Cuts Like a Knife is the third studio album by the Canadian rock artist Bryan Adams. Released on 18 January 1983 through A&M Records, the album became a huge commercial success in Canada and the United States whereas outside North America, the album did poorly. After the release of Reckless the album would chart on the British album chart and would later be certified Silver by the BPI. It was recorded at Little Mountain Sound, Vancouver, Canada. The album was a commercial success and sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

You Want It, You Got It is the second studio album that was released by Bryan Adams in 1981 (see 1981 in music). This was the album that established the sound that Adams has retained throughout his recording career. Unlike the debut album where Adams and Vallance played most of the instruments themselves, You Want It You Got It was recorded live in the studio. It was recorded and mixed in NYC over a two-week period during the spring of 1981. The album was originally to be titled "Bryan Adams Hasn't Heard Of You Either" (due to critics' indifference to his first album and singles) but Adams's sense of humour didn't make it past the gate keepers at the record company, who opted for the safer title.

Bryan Adams is the man behind classic songs like "Summer of '69" and "Heaven," and on his next album - exclusively premiering on Billboard - he's taking other artists' classics and making them his own.

What a surprise being a lover of all music of the hard rockin' 70's variety especially power trios I was blown away by how authentic and killer this band sounds...while labels like Century Media, Nuclear Blast and Metal Blade are falling over themselves to release albums by bands that sound retro...leave it to the Grooveyard and Joe (The Groovedawg) to deliver a totally authentic sounding retro power trio of the highest order...the vocals are very bluesy in the Paul Rodgers style to my ears...and the guitar riffs are right in tune with classic bands like Zeppelin, James Gang, Nazareth, Trapeze, Humble Pie, Free, Cactus...but what this has...to my ears anyway that a lot of the other retro bands lack is the authentic warm crisp punchy well separated analog production...yes really liking this one.

Fantastic Boney M. is a compilation album of recordings by Boney M. released by Hansa Records in Germany in December 1984.
This collection, subtitled Die Grossen Erfolge, which was issued shortly after Kalimba de Luna - 16 Happy Songs focuses on the early career of the band and their best-known hits such as "Daddy Cool", "Ma Baker" and "Rivers Of Babylon" but also includes their latest single releases at the time, cover version "Kalimba de Luna", "Somewhere In The World" from album Ten Thousand Lightyears, 1983's non-album single "Jambo - Hakuna Matata (No Problems)", as well as 1981's "We Kill The World (Don't Kill The World)" and "Felicidad (Margherita)".
