Bryan Adams was the debut studio album by Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams released in February 1980 on A&M Records. While the album did not gain attention in the US, "Hidin' From Love" reached #64 and "Give Me Your Love" reached #91 both on Canada's RPM 100 Singles chart.

Widely regarded as a classic fusion of jazz, rock and roll, psychedelia and classical music, Child Is Father to the Man is one of bandleader Al Kooper's most enduring works. The album introduced the idea of the big band to rock and roll and paved the way for such groups as Chicago. Kooper left the band after this album, changing the nature of the group.

Reception of the album was generally positive. Allmusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine gave 4 stars out of 5 to the album writing that "this is Ferry's prime, a moment when his legacy was intact but yet to be preserved in amber" and that the album "consciously evokes this distinct period, sometimes sighing into the exquisite ennui of Avalon but usually favoring the fine tailoring of Boys and Girls, a record where every sequenced rhythm, keyboard, and guitar line blended into an alluring urbane pulse" and that "the songs are what makes this record something more than a fling".

Boys and Girls is the sixth studio solo album by Bryan Ferry, the lead vocalist for Roxy Music, released in June 1985 by E.G. Records. The album was Ferry's first solo album in seven years and his first since the second demise of Roxy Music in 1983. The album was Ferry's first and only number 1 solo album in the UK where it was certified Platinum and contains two UK top 40 hit singles.

Award nominated Birgitte Soojin is a Korean-born, Norwegian-raised jazz vocalist.
