The album has sold 520,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan and more than 1 million copies worldwide.

Believe is the twenty-second studio album by American singer-actress Cher, first released on October 22, 1998 by Wea Records and distributed in North America by Warner Bros. Records. Following the failure of her previous studio album It's a Man's World, her record company encouraged her to return to the studio to pursue a new musical direction. Recording took place over the summer at the Dreamhouse Studios in London and the Soundworks Studios in New York under the guidance of English producers Mark Taylor and Brian Rawling. The album was dedicated to her ex-husband Sonny Bono, who died earlier that year.

Да, одной очень хорошей брутал-детовой командой стало меньше... Но я не сказал бы что альбом примитивный, он просто совершенно другой, по сравнению с предыдущим творчеством команды. Бас стал звучать намного лучше, вокал намного сложнее и интереснее, хотя вставки чистого вокала иногда действительно не в тему, про ударные можно не говорить…В общем, достаточно качественный и интересный альбом. Стоит послушать как любителям deathcore, так и поклонникам brutal death.

Удивительно то, что с первым (и единственным) альбомом Abstrakt Algebra (об этом великолепном творении - в другой раз) у "Dactylis Glomerata" не так уж много общего. Мы наблюдаем несколько облегченный по сравнению с ранними творениями Candlemass звук, более высокий темп песен, активное использование клавишных. Новый вокалист имеет более хрипловатый и немного гнусавый голос, но, в целом, он на этом релизе не вызывает отторжения. Гитара звучит совсем по-другому (благо на альбоме отметились аж три гитариста), ударные не вызывают особых эмоций. Стоит отметить, что с этого альбома у Лейфа Эдлинга, основного автора Candlemass, появилась привычка давать композициям странные и местами нелепые имена (она продолжится на альбоме его сайд-проекта Krux).

Cemetery Of Scream вернулись с новым альбомом после 4 лет молчания. Группа сменила вокалиста и лого. Оценить в полной мере весь потенциал нового вокалиста Pawel Kluczewski особо не представилось, ибо чистым вокалом он поет неплохо, а гроулинга на альбоме нет. Альбом слушается, как единое целое - в этом его плюс. Выделить какую-либо песню нельзя, да, наверное, и не надо. Музыка стала мелодичнее, doom'а почти не осталось. Но, тем не менее, это четко узнаваемый фирменный звук Cemetery Of Scream. Яркими пятнами (или наоборот более темным цветом) выделяются в альбоме места, когда музыка разбавляется женским вокалом или попыткой (странной и невнятной) сделать гроулинг.
