И вот, в лице "Forever Scarlet Passion" мы имеем очень необычный, самобытный и крайне интересный синтез дум/дэта (если точнее, то скорее мелодичной его разновидности) c традиционным думом. С одной стороны, здесь можно услышать все характерные черты дум/дэта: и гроулинг, и жёсткий гитарный саунд, также появляются специфические "тягучие" риффы в медленном темпе. Но с другой стороны, очевидно (и вот она - самая главная особенность альбома!), что значительная часть музыки основана на груве, на традиционных дум-метал риффах, восходящих к Cathedral и Candlemass, а в некоторых быстрых эпизодах даже заметно влияние стоунер-рока

Cerebral Fix появились в Бирмингеме в 1986 году в составе Simon Forrest - вокал, Gregg Fellows и Tony Warburton - гитары, Adrian Jones - ударные, Paul Adams - бас. Вобщем-то не долго думая, в 1988 записали первый альбом - Life Sucks... And Then You Die!. Потом были туры с такими монстрами. как Bolt Thrower, Napalm Death, Paradise Lost. Затем второй альбом - Tower Of Spite, потом третий - Bastards - уже на Roadrunner Records. А между тем участники группы уходили и к 1993 году для участия в турах приходилось брать временных музыкантов. В этом же 1993 группа распалась. В 2006 ребята собрались в первоначальном составе и здравствуют до сих пор.
Что касается музыки, то как истинные англичане, Cerebral Fix особо не торопятся и выдают среднетемповый довольно несложный трэш. Благодаря низкому саунду и манере построения риффов свойственной Bolt Thrower и Benediction, музыка слушается интересно.

Civil War была основана покинувшими группу Sabaton в марте 2012 году гитаристами Оскаром Монтелиусом и Рикардом Сунденом, клавишником Даниелем Мюром и ударником Даниелем Муллбаком. Также в группу были приглашены двое музыкантов Astral Doors: вокалист Нильс Патрик Йоханссон и басист Стефан Эриксон. 13 ноября вышел дебютный EP Civil War. Тематика песен не отличается от тематики Sabaton — войны, сражения и известные личности, участвовавшие в них. Альбом The Killer Angels достиг золотого статуса в Швеции

На "Cavalcade" ребята вопреки многочисленным прогнозам демонстрируют некоторые признаки оживления. После его прослушивания понимаешь, что ориентиром для написания данной работы послужил их лучший альбом "Location: Cold". Здесь мы имеем все тот же мелодичный блэк, изрядно приправленный элементами хэви-метала. Все это подкреплено напористым блэковым вокалом и быстрыми барабанами. Из треков хотелось бы отметить "Blood Trails", "Cavalcade" и сыгранную в лучших традициях мелодичного блэка "Silence". Именно Catamenia в свое время показала мне, каким должен быть настоящий Melodic Black Metal, в котором упор делается не на клавишные, а на мелодичные гитарные риффы, которые, сплетаясь с вокалом, порождают вихрь эмоций и хорошего настроения.

За последние годы Catharsis по праву можно назвать одной из лучших отечественных групп, достигших на территории России успеха, зависть к которому частенько перевешивает здравый смысл. Повторяя путь наиболее успешных западных коллег (а в целом просто следуя давно определенным законам шоу бизнеса), Catharsis перед выходом своего нового альбома и DVD выпуском ЕР “Баллада Земли” убивает двух зайцев: во-первых, пять аудио дорожек дают возможность фэнам услышать новый материал от своих любимцев и не скучать до выхода нового диска, а во-вторых, огромная мультимедиа-секция, размещенная на диске в качестве бонуса, достойно рекламирует выход грядущего концертного DVD, в который войдут съемки, сделанные в ходе тура по городам России.

Crash (stylised in all caps) is the fifth studio album by English singer-songwriter Charli XCX, released on 18 March 2022. It was her last album to be released under her record contract with Atlantic Records. Charli announced the album title, release date, and artwork on 4 November 2021. Her website was also updated with information about the album's 2022 tour. The album was preceded by the four singles "Good Ones", "New Shapes" featuring Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek, "Beg for You" featuring Rina Sawayama, "Baby" and two promotional singles, "Every Rule" and "Used to Know Me", the latter released as the fifth single in April 2022.

Saxuality is the debut album by Candy Dulfer. Dulfer was no stranger to music since she is the daughter of Hans Dulfer, a famous Dutch saxophone player. Prior to her debut album, Candy Dulfer performed with Rosa King at the North Sea Jazz Festival, opened for Madonna during her 1987 concert in Rotterdam, collaborated with Prince on Graffiti Bridge, joined Prince on his 1988 tour and had a #11 hit with "Lily Was Here" together with David A. Stewart.

These Are Special Times is the first English-language holiday album by Canadian singer Celine Dion. Released by Sony Music Entertainment on October 30, 1998, it features cover versions of popular Christmas tunes and original material. Dion worked with David Foster and Ric Wake, who produced most of the tracks for the album. Other producers include R. Kelly and Bryan Adams. Critics praised Dion's commitment to the recorded material, as well as the production of the songs.

Heaven is a music album by techno/trance artist Cosmic Baby which was released in 1999. It is Cosmic Baby's fourth full-length album. It was his final album before his break from recording as Cosmic Baby, as well as his final album in traditional Cosmic Baby style. At the end of 2006 he returned as Cosmic Baby with the album Industrie und Melodie.

Chile’s Extreme Metal scene continued to impress with COFFIN CURSE’s debut, “Ceased to Be,” an old school Death Metal record with riffs of maximum caliber. The album was eight tracks of fresh ideas mixed with old school stylings.
“Gathered unto Death” introduced the album with steady riffing and nice structure but nothing beyond what was expected of the release. The track jumped around with different riffs, progressing through them with ease before reaching a sort of grand finale. As a whole, the song was a strong start to the record.
Within the first half of the record, the scene was set for brutality. “Where Sickness Thrives” and “Chopped Clean Off” provided a look into the fierce riffing of the band. With very good transitioning and songwriting technique, the songs were effectively two of the strongest on the record.

Club des Belugas ist eine Nu Jazz- und Lounge-Formation in Deutschland. Der Kern von Club des Belugas besteht aus Maxim Illion und Kitty the Bill; sie werden unterstützt von verschiedenen Jazzsängern und Instrumentalisten, darunter Reiner Winterschladen, Mickey Neher, Brenda Boykin und Ester Rada.

Club des Belugas? Das sagte mir gar nichts bis vor wenigen Wochen. Die Entdeckung einer musikalischen Neuerscheinung vom Feinsten, "Cameleon" mit Maya Fadeeva als geniale Sängerin hat die Spur gezeichnet. Damit war die Neugier geweckt, was diese Band noch so produziert hat. Dieser Clubjazz mit Dynamik, gehörter Spiellaune und perfektem Sound ist der ersten Entdeckung gefolgt. Nur ganz wenig mit Gesang aber dem Vokaljazz der wandelbaren Maya Vadeeva ebenbürtig, Die Clubband hat Spass und macht Spass. Ich höre den Sound gern immer wieder.
