Josephine Philip and Ina Lindgreen aka Danish wave pop duo DARKNESS FALLS return with a new single. Dance And Cry is the title-track off the band’s forthcoming second studio album. The follow-up to 2012’s Alive In Us is set for a release on March 30 via Hfn Music/ Fake Diamond Record. It also features the 2014 released singles The Answer and Hazy.

This Brazilian-born music style fits her like a glove, and her renderings of these classic bossa songs and bossa treatments of other songs are straight forward and without overt surprises and gimmicks, and, as always, intimate and charming. An interesting twist is that she uses three languages--Portuguese, English and French--which gives this album an international flavor. The CD also features superb accompaniment once again from Reg Schwager and Don Thompson, as well as Brazillian guests Maninho Costa and Silas Silva. MK III: The Final Concerts, alternatively entitled Archive Alive, is a live album by Deep Purple, recorded during the band's 1975 European tour in support of the Stormbringer album. It was released in 1996.

This compilation repeats seven tracks from 1988's Money For Nothing anthology. Given that Mark Knopfler and crew have recorded one new album during the decade between best-of collections, how different could Sultans of Swing be? For one thing, CD dominance has made for longer compilations, and this one is fleshed out by singles, three tracks from 1991's On Every Street, and Knopfler's solo "Local Hero" theme, performed live. More importantly, the second track here is the band's terrific second single, "Lady Writer," previously only available on the otherwise dismal Communiqué LP. Five tracks from Dire Straits' huge Brothers in Arms LP appear here, but only two tracks surface from Making Movies, the group's pinnacle achievement. Ultimately, if you own Making Movies and this compilation, you own the essential Dire Straits.

It was released to mixed reviews and was not as popular - or as successful - as its predecessor, though it still sold more than 10 million copies worldwide (six million in Europe and other one million in the United States). It reached number 12 in the United States and number one in the United Kingdom. The album was produced by Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits.
