Guitarist and composer Dean Brown has always done things his way. Nowhere is that in greater evidence than on ROLAJAFUFU, his fifth album as a leader. The title is a playful acronym that encompasses rock-Latin-jazz-funk-fusion, the universes Brown explores on this diverse, kinetic recording. Brown’s fiercely independent streak is also exemplified by the fact that this album was funded by his denizens of fans worldwide via PledgeMusic. It’s Brown’s first self-released album, after four celebrated previous discs on the ESC label. He initially embarked on a successful solo career in 2001 after establishing himself as one of the most versatile, first-call virtuoso guitarists in the jazz, rock and funk worlds. Just a few of the global icons he’s worked with include Marcus Miller, The Brecker Brothers, Billy Cobham, David Sanborn, Bob James, George Duke, Roberta Flack, Lenny White, and Joe Zawinul.

Blackstar (stylised as ★) is the twenty-fifth and final studio album by English singer David Bowie. It was released worldwide through Bowie's ISO Records label on 8 January 2016, Bowie's 69th birthday. Bowie died two days after its release. Co-producer Tony Visconti described the album as Bowie's intended swan song and a "parting gift" for his fans before his death.

This particular concert took place at London’s Paris Theater on March 9, 1972, but it was originally paired with another performance from February 19, 1970, and released under the less specific title Deep Purple in Concert. Both shows were recorded by the BBC, which is how the ’72 show ended up getting its own release in 2004 under the title Live on the BBC, but in 2012, that show received another reissue – this time with a new remix – and was released under its current title, In Concert ’72, and with the running order of the performance actually matching the original set list for the first time.

My Sister Is My Clock is an EP released by the Belgian band dEUS in 1995 with the songs that did not make the 1994 LP Worst Case Scenario. It was recorded and mixed at Caraibes in Brussels in August 1994, and edited at the Pingstudio in Ghent. It was produced by the duo Vermeersch/Vervloesem, who also played guitar, piano, bass, and drums on some of the songs.
On the CD all the music is in a single track lasting over 25 minutes.

This album was made with that spirit in mind…an abundance of love and joy went into every single note. For me, making it was like hosting the best holiday party ever! I invited some wonderfully talented friends over…we ate, we drank, we reminisced, and then we retired to the living room, sat around the piano, and sang some songs—first, each duet partner and me; then before the party was over, we all came together for one last song: the Beatles gem “All You Need Is Love.” Though not a Christmas song, it truly holds the message of the holidays (and really, of life) for me.
