About Face (englisch für „Kehrtwende“) ist das zweite Soloalbum des britischen Musikers David Gilmour, des Gitarristen und Sängers der Rockband Pink Floyd. Es wurde im März 1984 veröffentlicht. Die Titel wurden von Gilmour komponiert, die Texte der Titel Love on the Air und All Lovers Are Deranged schrieb The-Who-Musiker Pete Townshend.

Gemini Suite Live is a recording of Jon Lord's classical/rock piece Gemini Suite featuring the Mark II band lineup of Deep Purple, recorded live during this one and only live performance in 1970. A follow-up to their "Concerto" Project, it featured five movements for the individual members of the band, including a guitar piece from Blackmore.

30: Very Best of Deep Purple is a 1998 compilation album by English rock band Deep Purple, celebrating 30th anniversary of the band. There are two CD versions of the album, a single CD and a double CD, and a vinyl version, a double LP printed on purple vinyl, with the track listing being identical to the single CD version.
The single CD version concentrates on the greatest hits of Deep Purple through the years, and contains mostly edited single versions of the songs, for example "Child in Time", which was over ten minutes long in its original form on the album Deep Purple in Rock. The double CD "Special Collectors Edition" is more in-depth, containing full versions of all the songs.

Интенсивные риффы северной закалки, шероховатый звук, смены богохульного рыка на вопли отчаяния и одинокий зов куда-то вдаль, а скоростных фрагментов на среднетемповые замедления, которые преобладают на этом альбоме. Строгий мелодизм и штрихи гитарных соло без излишеств. Всё это чередуется мрачными Ambient интерлюдиями, углубляющими ужасы пограничного пространства между миром живых и Хадесом. И более чем в тему - кавер JUDAS ISCARIOT. Он не выпадает из ауры альбома, но усиливает её - отнимает последние проблески и погружает в смерть.

It’s clear Tales is a strong album and that Cryvas has a knack for telling a story with his music. Unfortunately, too often the classical instrumentation eclipses the black metal, leaving the electric guitars doing little more than buzzing ferociously beneath the other instruments. In a way Tales feels like the perfect example of a black metal record that uses the genre as a vehicle for something else.

Альбом очень цельный, хотя поначалу кажется слегка затянутым. "Brand New God" - яростная и захватывающая вещь - этакая антибаллада, душераздирающая "Going Back To Die" вообще заставляет бросить все дела и бежать за водкой со всех ног. Финальный крик в "Let It Be Captured" можно принять за предмертную агонию и кажется, что после него Данциг вряд ли сможет петь. Самое странное впечатление вызыввает последний, скрытый трек, где Гленн поет о демонах под сопровождение органа.

Девятый полноформатный альбом немецких мясников представляет собой простой, прямолинейный дэт-н-ролл с качевыми и запоминающими рифами. DEBAUCHERY узнаваем с первых аккордов, т.к. их саунд и манера игры это уже как визитная карточка группы! Великолепно прописанный и идеально сыгранный материал придется по вкусу как преданным поклонникам классического дэта, так и людям далеким от этого стиля.

Альбом един и монолитен, как древнеримский монумент. Но при этом песни разные, их можно слушать в любом порядке и открывать много нового в давно известных и понятных вещах. Именно к этому, третьему альбому, хочется возвращаться и слушать его ещё. Наверное, потому что при прослушивании тратишь много сил, но это возвращается настоящим удовольствием от музыки.
