Digital Emotion is a Dutch euro disco group that originally consisted of Glenn Van Der Hoff and Steve Goede. Their most popular songs were "Get Up, Action", "The Beauty and the Beast" and "Go Go Yellow Screen" (all three were featured in episode 14 of Nu Pogodi), released in the middle of the 1980s. The band has released two albums, Digital Emotion (1984) and Outside In The Dark (1985).

Blue is the first full-length album from Swiss band Double. In addition to containing updated versions of two of the band's earlier singles ("Woman of the World" and "Rangoon Moon"), the album included the international smash hit, "The Captain of Her Heart", a plaintive, atmospheric, piano-led ballad which was an immediate success throughout Europe (and eventually, the U.S.) upon its 1986 single release. Follow-up singles "Your Prayer Takes Me Off" and "Tomorrow" were less successful.

The Doctor is back doing his funky jazz thing... this time with his touring trio of Jonathan Kreisberg and Jamire Williams. Dr. Lonnie Smith is internationally known as one of the premier jazz keyboardists in the history of the idiom. A dominant talent and pace-setting proponent of the Hammond B3 Organ, Dr. Lonnie Smith has been at the forefront of the jazz scene since 1969 when he was first named Top Organist by Downbeat Magazine.

Dr. Lonnie Smith will release his first Blue Note album in 45 years, Evolution, on Jan. 29. The Hammond B-3 organist previously recorded for the label in the late 1960s, first as a sideman with saxophonist Lou Donaldson on albums including Alligator Bogaloo and then as a leader with his own albums Think! and Turning Point. Special guests on Evolution include pianist Robert Glasper and saxophonist Joe Lovano, who made his own recorded debut as a sideman on Smith’s 1975 album Afrodesia. Smith will perform with his Evolution band at the 2016 NYC Winter Jazzfest in January, and additional tour dates and album details will be announced shortly, according to Blue Note.
