De-Phazz's third album is another off-color mixture of Heidelberg-based lounge jazz, and its lazy breakbeats, trip-hop strings, and idly soulful singers are the least willfully ironic out there. The Latin touches are sprawling yet snug, like Beatless or Fila Brazillia by way of Air. Even better are the reggae-jazz experiments that pop out from time to time, as if to remind you that chillout collectives, even German ones, still know how to be sobered and eclectic. But it also can't seem to get around the idea that comedic late-night music is a tough, rubber-nosed beast to tame. Like Bent on a bad day, "Heartfixer" is an unfortunately upbeat clod-rock take on downtempo cheek, and "Trash Box" is even worse. Nothing groundbreaking, all said, just braver than Zero 7.

X (pronounced ten) is the eighth studio album by English rock band Def Leppard, released on 30 July 2002 by Island Records in the US and sister label Mercury worldwide. Much like 1996's Slang, it featured another departure from their signature sound by moving into the pop genre. The album charted at No. 11 on The Billboard 200 and No. 14 on the UK Albums Chart. Most of the album was produced by Pete Woodroffe and the band, with remaining tracks produced by either Marti Frederiksen or Per Aldeheim and Andreas Carlsson.

Now What?! is the 19th studio album by English rock band Deep Purple. It was released on 26 April 2013 and produced by Bob Ezrin. A dedicated official web site was also created by the band to post updates about the album. It is the band's first studio album in over seven years; Deep Purple's previous studio album, Rapture of the Deep, was released in late 2005.

Magica is the eighth studio album by American heavy metal band Dio. A concept album, it was produced by frontman Ronnie James Dio and released on March 21, 2000, through Spitfire Records.
The album marks the return of guitarist Craig Goldy, who also has performed on Dio's album Dream Evil and in the later release Master of the Moon. Magica also features Jimmy Bain on bass and Simon Wright on drums. The album was originally planned to be the first part of a trilogy of concept albums. Shortly before beginning his tour with Heaven & Hell, Dio announced his intention to start the Magica II & III album after the tour's end, but he died shortly after of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010. The only song released from Magica II & III was titled "Electra".

David Gilmour is the first solo album by Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour. The album was released in May and June 1978 in the United Kingdom and the United States, respectively. The album reached number 17 in the UK and number 29 on the Billboard US album charts; it was certified Gold in the US by the RIAA. The album was produced by Gilmour, and consists mostly of blues, guitar oriented rock songs except for the piano-dominated ballad "So Far Away".

On an Island is the third solo album by Pink Floyd member David Gilmour. It was released in the UK on 6 March 2006, Gilmour's 60th birthday, and in the US the following day. It was his first solo album in twenty two years since 1984's About Face and twelve years since 1994's Pink Floyd album The Division Bell.

The 1972 album that unleashed Smoke on the Water; Highway Star , and Space Truckin' on the hard-rockin' public became Deep Purple's definitive studio album; this remastered reissue not only sounds (much) better than ever, but it's joined by an original B-side, When a Blind Man Cries , and alternate mixes of every single song on the album!

Добротная и профессиональная «американщина» в исполнении этих монстров брутал-дэта валит с ног агрессией и напором. Ураганно-скоростной альбом, проносящийся по ушам горным камнепадом, не оставит равнодушным ни одного любителя мяса с антихристианским душком. Ударник выдает непрекращающуюся долбу, гитарист, несмотря на жанр музыки, умудряется играть технически отточенные соляки, а звериный рык вокалиста крайне мрачен и во всех отношениях брутален. Интересные мелодии встречаются очень часто, что делает альбом еще более любопытным. Особняком стоит композиция “Requiem To The Crused Lust”, медленная, мрачная и «дикая» вещица с упором на клавиши (которыми, кстати, во всех остальных песенках и не пахнет). Она, видимо, присутствует на диске для отдыха и расслабления перед новым штормом, который за ней следует. Качество записи вполне приемлемое, каждый инструмент звучит четко и без «каши». Отдельного слова заслуживает обложка, на которой красуется картинка по мотивам творчества Deicide и Cannibal Corpse.

Нужно сказать, что материал подобран просто идеально и состоит из сплошных хитов, до сих пор исполняемых группой на концертах. Записан альбом очень качественно, с двумя гитаристами, что является несомненным плюсом, так как добавило необходимой мощи обычно «жидкому» звучанию группы при игре втроём (на тот момент, естественно). Всё это подкреплено весьма нетривиальными импровизациями, что также идет в копилку несомненных плюсов этого диска. Нельзя не отметить оформление альбома: Сумасшедший Мясник здесь просто превосходен, хоть, конечно, и уступает оформлению одноименного ЕР по части детальной прорисовки.

На диске представлен музыкальный материал, с которым работала группа, за период с 1995 по 1997 год. Музыка "Всадников Апокалипсиса" есть ни что иное, как адская смесь дэта, блэка и хеви-металла с обилием клавиш. Диск дыл выпущен германской компанией Ars Metalli тиражем 7000 копий. Россииское переиздание увидело свет лишь в 2002 году, позднее этим альбомом заинтересовались "монстры" тяжёлой музыки Nuclear Blast.

Celebrate – The Night of the Warlock is an EP by German female hard rock singer Doro Pesch, released in 2008 through AFM Records. The EP preceded of a few months the album Fear No Evil and includes three versions of the song "Celebrate". In the single version of the song the chorus is provided by a group of Doro fans, while the other two contain in the chorus the vocal performances of Saxon's frontman Biff Byford and of many female heavy metal singers.

Dead Can Dance – коллектив, заложивший основы современной готической музыки, стоявший у истоков таких ее поджанров как Ethereal, Ethno-Gothic (практически фирменное определение их стиля), и однозначно опередивший свое время (сейчас очень многие играют похожую музыку, но едва ли кто-нибудь дотягивает до уровня DCD). Сборник «Путешествие во Времени» охватывает творческие достижения дуэта с 84 по 90 гг. (возможно, самый плодотворный период).

Они создают рельефный и запоминающийся гитарный материал, не прибегая к большим дозам сложных приёмов и построений. Вот только есть одна беда: уж очень похоже всё это на Vader образца конца 1990-ых-начала 2000-ых. Ну что ж, это дело легко объяснить. Ведь двое из поляков-музыкантов Dies Irae "The Sin War"-овского созыва (а через год после 2002-го уже и третий, басист, тоже!) как раз были частью указанной мощнейшей польской же формации в эти благодатные для неё годы ("Back To The Blind", "Litany", "Revelations"):
