"Waldschrein" encompasses the brand-new title track and an acoustic version of the ... It doesn't have that modern Equilibrium production to go with it, mostly just synth backing chords and not much going on. The overall production of the EP is really solid.

Sweden’s Evocation were right in the thick of the country’s death metal explosion, but split about a year later with only two demo tapes to their name. Like myriad other Swedish acts of the period, the group reunited in the middle of the 00s, and while the three well-received full-length albums released since suggest that the group were right to return, this fourth effort is far too generic to excite any but the most fervent fan of the genre.

Norwegian progressive extreme metal icons ENSLAVED will release "The Sleeping Gods - Thorn" compilation this November via ByNorse Music. A full-length album comprised of rare material from 2010-2011, "The Sleeping Gods - Thorn" is a unique collection of experimental material connecting with the band's early roots.
The seven tracks comprising "The Sleeping Gods - Thorn" originally appeared on extremely limited EPs between ENSLAVED's "Axioma Ethica Odini" and "Riitiir" full-lengths and were recorded both in Solslottet Studio in Bergen, as well as the band members' own studios and partly in the deep woods of Valevaag on the South Western Coast of Norway. Like the songs themselves, the production is a mix of old and new; high tech and no-tech — a mix of concepts that have been essential in achieving the signature sound ENSLAVED has become notorious for today. Members Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson co-produced the material together with longtime collaborator Iver Sandøy.
The album includes lyrics sung in Norwegian, English, and Old Norse, with themes centered on mythology and the esoteric side of the runes, as well as contrasting the Norse Ways as a polytheistic belief system to the monotheistic plague of the Big World Religions. The music nods respectfully to the wildly varying deities that make up the pantheon of inspiration for ENSLAVED, both "then" and "now." There are traces of the proto black metal of BATHORY, the classic rock and heavy metal of the '70s and '80s, the synthesized and sequenced masters of the '70s, prog-rock, world/Norse folk music, Norwegian black metal of the '90s, modern classical music, goth rock a la FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM, and much more.
Tying he package together are the extensive liner notes Kjellson and a beautiful new layout by Costin Chioreanu of Twilight 13 Media (Roadburn festival, OPETH, DARKTHRONE, AT THE GATES) whose mesmerizing new illustrations display a unique symbiosis between two of our times' most exciting visual and sonic artists.

Exodus напоминает нам, что он жив. Жив, причём ещё и кусается! Концертник, записанный ещё в 1997 году, и сейчас оставляет приятное впечаление. По сути дела, группа практически перепела свой дебютник и пару-тройку песен со второго альбома. Но как перепели! Энергия, агрессия, угар, рубилово (опять повторюсь :)) увеличились в разы. Те же "Strike Of The Beast", "Exodus" и "And Then There Were None" опять заставляют трясти башкой с новой силой. Отличный концертник отличной группы, напоминавший тогда, что трэш жил, трэш жив, трэш будет жить!

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is the eighth studio album by American rapper Eminem, released on November 5, 2013, by Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records. A continuation of Eminem's most acclaimed studio effort, 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP, production for the album took place from 2012 to 2013 and was handled by Eminem and other record producers, including Rick Rubin, Luis Resto, Emile Haynie, and Alex da Kid. Black Boots on Latin Feet is the second studio album by Ezio, released in 1995. The album, which takes its name from the lyrics of its opening song, Saxon Street, was released on the Arista Records label. Much is made of the fact that Tony Blair picked track 4, Cancel Today, as one of his Desert Island Discs when he appeared on that show in 1996, as at the time few people had heard of the band.

Won't Go Quietly is the second studio album from British recording artist Example. It was released as a digital download on 20 June 2010, with the physical release the following day. Noted producers that helped with the album include Calvin Harris, Sub Focus and Chase & Status. As of December 2012, the album has sold 265,000 copies in the UK.

The Open Door is the second studio album by the American rock band Evanescence. It was first released in Poland on September 25, 2006, through Wind-up Records and subsequently in more than 20 countries worldwide. The release date, which was originally intended to be in March 2006, was changed because of guitarist Terry Balsamo's stroke, the loss of the band's former manager, and Will Boyd's and Ben Moody's departure from the band. The album symbolizes a new beginning for the band, incorporating new elements into their previous musical styles, which include gothic rock, symphonic rock and pop music as well as the use of choirs on several songs. The writing process for the album took over 18 months to complete; most of the songs were written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo, and were produced by Dave Fortman.

Anywhere but Home is the first live album and video release by American rock band Evanescence, released on November 23, 2004, by Wind-up Records. It includes all four of their Fallen music videos, an hour of behind the scenes features, and a recording of a concert at Le Zénith in Paris. It also includes a previously unreleased song on the CD release, titled "Missing" (which also plays during the DVD credits); while placed at the end of the disc, the CD insert shows it as track eight however it is actually track 14 and incorrectly labeled "Whisper".
