К осени 1999-го у Enid был практически готов материал для второй полнометражки, причем на сей раз Мартин постарался почаще менять темп и сделать мелодии и аранжировки более разнообразными. Тем не менее, альбом "Abschiedsreigen", рассказывающий историю умирающего человека, выглядел вполне гомогенным, а звук изрядно потяжелел. По ходу сессий Флориан взялся за решение кадровых вопросов, и с его подачи в команде появились барабанщик Мориц Нойнер и вокалистка Мария Дорн. "Abschiedsreigen", как и его предшественник, получил позитивную прессу, и лишь немного обозреватели попеняли музыкантам на недостаток реального звучания гитар.

В музыкальном же плане здесь уже далеко не то простое индастриал-звучание, как у Megaherz. Больше электроники и возвышенное звучание придают какой-то готический оттенок. Под ритмичные наполненные элетроникой песни порой так и тянет потанцевать. В целом музыка довольно леденящая, а вокал Алекса только дополняет этот эффект. Некоторые песни заслуживают отдельного внимания, но альбом местами откровенно буксует на месте из-за отсутствия какой-то живости. Причем в таких местах ни грустно, ни весело. Отсюда создается впечатление, что некоторые песни создавались лишь для заполнения места на диске, потому что они не вызывают ровным счетом никаких эмоций.

The Score – An Epic Journey is a soundtrack album by the Dutch symphonic metal formation Epica, released in 2005. It is the film soundtrack to Joyride, a Dutch production.
Most of the songs of the album are instrumental, except for four songs. The three songs that do feature the singing voice of Simone Simons ("Trois Vierges", "Solitary Ground", "Quietus") are different versions of songs from the album Consign to Oblivion, which was released earlier the same year.
The album was originally supposed to be released on 8 September. After two delays, this date changed to 20 September 2005. The first samples of The Score were given to Jimmy Lim by Mark Jansen in Madrid.

The Phantom Agony is the first full-length studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released in 2003 by the Dutch label Transmission Records. It is the first album recorded by guitarist Mark Jansen after his departure from the band After Forever. On this album, Jansen continues with the collection of songs that make up The Embrace That Smothers. The first three parts can be found on Prison of Desire (2000), After Forever's debut album, and the following three parts can be found on The Divine Conspiracy (2007), Epica's third album. These songs deal with the dangers of organized religion.
The album was re-released on 23 March 2013, which coincided with Epica’s 10th anniversary Retrospect show, as a 2-disc expanded edition by Epica’s former record label Transmission Records.

Requiem for the Indifferent is the fifth studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released on 9 March 2012. It was the final album to feature original member Yves Huts on bass guitar.

According to Mark Jansen, "This title refers to the end of an era. Mankind can no longer stick their head in the sand for the things that are happening around us. We are facing many challenges. There is an enormous tension between different religions and cultures, wars, natural disasters and a huge financial crisis, which is getting out of control. As we are all connected; the universe, earth, nature, animals and human beings, this period in time will be the prelude to the end for those who still don't want to, or simply won't see it. A Requiem for the Indifferent but also a possibility for a new beginning with great new chances!"

Design Your Universe is het vierde studioalbum van de Nederlandse metalband Epica. Het album werd door de platenmaatschappij Nuclear Blast op 16 oktober 2009 uitgebracht. Epica presenteerde het album op 10 oktober met een show in Paradiso in Amsterdam.
Op het album staan drie nummers in de serie "A New Age Dawns", die begon op Epica's tweede album, Consign to Oblivion uit 2005.
Op 17 juli 2019 werd bekendgemaakt dat er een gouden editie van het album op 4 oktober 2019 uit zal komen.

Consign to Oblivion is the second studio-album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica, and was released in 2005. "Trois Vierges" features a guest appearance by former Kamelot vocalist Roy Khan. The album's lyrics are heavily influenced by Mayan Civilization.
