The Very Best of Enya is the second greatest hits album by the Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya, released on 23 November 2009 by Warner Music. After promoting her previous studio album And Winter Came... (2008), Warner Music asked Enya to release a new compilation of her favourite songs of her career, and chose a selection with her longtime collaborators, producer and arranger Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan.
The album received mostly positive reviews from music critics and peaked at number 32 on the UK Albums Chart and number 55 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. It spent over 100 weeks at number one on the Billboard New Age Albums chart. In a departure from her previous releases, Enya did not promote the album with interviews, appearances, or live performances.

No Boundaries is an unofficial CD release presenting recordings the late American singer Eva Cassidy. Released in 2000, it is collection of studio recordings from 1987 - 1991. The release was not endorsed by the Cassidy family, and was released under label different from that under which her other albums were released. The album contains remixes of 5 tracks from her albums, 4 un-released originals written by Taylor and a radio edit of "Emotional Step".

Timepieces: The Best of Eric Clapton is a greatest hits album by British musician Eric Clapton. The album was originally released by RSO/Polydor Records in April 1982 (see 1982 in music). The following year a second volume, Time Pieces Vol.II Live in the Seventies, was released by the label. The album has been reissued several times and has been awarded certifications in several regions. Billboard reported, the album sold more than 13,400,000 copies worldwide.

Elaine Paige and Friends is a duet album from Elaine Paige, released on November 1, 2010. Phil Ramone produced the album for Rhino/Warner Bros Records. The CD debuted on the UK Singles Chart at #18. Paige toured the UK in concert in support of the recording in the beginning of 2011. The CD sold "more than 100,000 units and earned Gold certification from the BPI", as of December 20, 2010.

Ekseption was a Dutch rock band active from 1967 to 1989, playing mostly-instrumental progressive rock and classical rock. The central character in the changing roster, and the only band member present on every album, was conservatory-trained trumpeter Rein van den Broek (10 September 1945 - 11 May 2015). The band saw some commercial success in the 1970s, having Dutch top ten hit singles with their adaptations of Beethoven's "Fifth" and Bach's (Celebrated) "Air". The second album, Beggar Julia's Time Trip (1969), won the Dutch Edison Award for album of the year, and the first five albums all went gold.

Edmund James Arthur Hockridge (9 August 1919 – 15 March 2009) was a Canadian baritone and actor who had an active performance career in musicals, operas, concerts, plays and on radio. According to his obituary in The Guardian, his life could have provided the storyline for one of the musicals he starred in.

A word for divas in waiting: beware. Fairy tales are fine, but in the world of music it's a buyer's market for princesses. With so many fairy godmothers working overtime to make sure that their charge wins the prize, it's often down to an indefinable "oomph" that vaunts one pumpkin carriage past the rest. Take Eboni Foster as a case in point: She's got the looks, the pipes, and the credentials (having played with Nuttin' Nyce), but no curtain call. Just What You Want is a good R&B effort, but one ultimately found wanting.
