Frank Duval, auch Franco Duval, eigentlich: Frank Uwe Patz (* 22. November 1940 in Berlin) ist ein deutscher Komponist, Bandleader, Sänger und Arrangeur.
Frank Duval ist der Spross einer alten Hugenotten- und Künstler-Familie. Sein Vater war Kunstmaler und eine Tante Hofmalerin am königlich-preußischen Hof. Sein Großvater, Chefredakteur der Berliner Zeitung und Fabrikant, entwickelte mit seinem Schwager zudem Reformprodukte wie Biomalz und Biocitin.

Fuse One was a group of jazz musicians who collaborated for two albums released on CTI Records and one album released on GNP Crescendo Records.
The albums Fuse One and Silk were produced by Creed Taylor. The first album was arranged by Jeremy Wall of Spyro Gyra, the second by Leon "Ndugu" Chancler of Weather Report and the third by David Matthews.
Membership was not concrete, but included Tony Williams, Joe Farrell, John McLaughlin, Stanley Turrentine, Wynton Marsalis, Larry Coryell, Lenny White, Paulinho Da Costa, Ronnie Foster, Stanley Clarke, George Benson, Todd Cochran, Leon "Ndugu" Chancler, Tom Browne, Dave Valentin, Jorge Dalto, and Eric Gale.
The liner notes to their first album described the group thus: "Fuse One is conceived as a forum in which major contemporary musicians perform according to their own musical disciplines and without the constraints that accompany leader responsibilities. Each player brings in new compositions and ideas."

Au début des années 1970, en écrivant et en composant pour des artistes comme Margot Werner (de), Maria Schell, Klaus Löwitsch, Peter Alexander, Bata Illic ou Alexandra, Duval développe sa propre signature musicale et a de plus en plus de succès. À partir de 1977, il compose des bandes originales de films comme Bitte lasst die Blumen leben, et les génériques de séries policières comme Inspecteur Derrick, Le Renard. Pour ces deux séries, il écrit plus de 200 titres. Il obtient un succès international avec Give Me Your Love, le générique de la série Unsere schönsten Jahre (de). La bande originale devient If I could fly, son premier album à avoir du succès.

Frank Duval (born 22 November 1940, Berlin, as Frank Uwe Patz) is a German composer, conductor, record producer, songwriter and singer.
Born into a family of artists, Duval studied as an actor and dancer, and also sang with his sister, Maria. By the 1960s, Duval was composing music, both orchestral and pop, and his first soundtrack, for an episode of the German serial Tatort, was broadcast in 1977. The song "Todesengel" from his 1979 debut album, Die schönsten Melodien aus Derrick und Der Alte, became a moderate hit, and was a number one in Switzerland in 1979.
During the 1980s, Duval released several soundtracks, as well as solo albums, with lyrics occasionally co-written with his wife Kalina Maloyer. He had several singles enter the German charts, including "Angel of Mine" (Number One in 1981), "Ways" (1983), "Lovers Will Survive" (1986), and "When You Were Mine" (1987).

San Francisco-area funk rockers Fungo Mungo culminated a successful bar band career with this 1992 release on Island Records. With a lineup of Damion Gallegos on vocals, Jeff Gomes on drums, eventual Third Eye Blind bassist Arion Salazar, Miguel Fimbriez Johnson on guitar, and Damon Ramirez on keyboards, Fungo Mungo delivers tightly-wrapped funk modeled after the genre's best practitioners. Instead of the kinetic locker-room edge of funk-rock superstars Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fungo Mungo had the talent and desire to move booties with their Prince and Funkadelic inflections. Besides the rock instrumentation, the disc includes plenty of horns in its mix, keeping the soul flow in affect as the band glides through their loosely arranged jams. Highlight cuts include the Sign O' the Times mimicking "Hype is Stupid" and the rolling riffage of "Sex Sells" that suggests fellow Bay Area mega-talents Primus. Humongous has the all the energy and musicianship needed to inspire open-minded funk fans of any generation.

The Freddie Mercury Album is a posthumous solo project with material from Queen frontman and vocalist Freddie Mercury released in 1992, to observe the anniversary of his death. The album is mainly made up of remixes from his past releases, as well as the original versions of "Barcelona", "Love Kills", "Exercises in Free Love", and "The Great Pretender". A week later, The Great Pretender, its US counterpart, was released.

Frank Alpine is the minimal synth project of Los Angeles based musician Rich Moreno. As a veteran of LA’s underground punk and darkwave scenes, as well as a previous member of New Collapse and The Boy Scouts of Annihilation, Moreno has called upon his resume to create a harsh and abrasive minimal synth sound consumed by jarring Casio synths and penetrating drum machine rhythms. Frank Alpine put out its first single Night Tripper with Dais in 2009, and went on to put out its self-titled LP on the late Wierd Records in 2011. Somewhere between the relentless aggression of No Wave and the minimalistic precision of 80s minimal synth, Frank Alpine brands his own style of pared-down electronics with a clashing imprint that is as sharp and machine-like as it is cerebral and distinctly humanistic.

Pushing the Senses is the fifth album by the British rock band Feeder. It was released on Echo, Liberation Music and PIAS on 31 January 2005 in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, while being released on Pony Canyon in Japan on 10 February 2005. Despite mixed reviews, the album was a commercial success, in which it was a top five album in Feeder's native United Kingdom, and its lead single "Tumble and Fall" was a top five single. This made the album Feeder's most successful in terms of peak chart position, but did not experience the same chart longevity as presuccessor Comfort in Sound, which spent 36 weeks on the UK top 75 chart in comparison to the 15 weeks spent by Pushing the Senses.

Tusk is the twelfth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released as a double album on 12 October 1979. It is considered more experimental than their previous albums: partly a consequence of Lindsey Buckingham's sparser songwriting arrangements and the influence of post-punk. The production costs were estimated to be over $1 million (equivalent to $3.57 million in 2020), making it the most expensive rock album recorded to that date.
The band embarked on a nine-month tour to promote Tusk. They travelled extensively across the world, including the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. In Germany, they shared the bill with Bob Marley. On this world tour, the band recorded music for the Fleetwood Mac Live album released in 1980.

Time is the 16th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 10 October 1995. This album features a unique line-up for the band featuring the addition of former Traffic guitarist Dave Mason and country vocalist Bekka Bramlett (daughter of Delaney and Bonnie). Lindsey Buckingham, who had left Fleetwood Mac in 1987, makes an appearance as a backing vocalist on one track, but Time is the only Fleetwood Mac album since 1974's Heroes Are Hard to Find not to feature any contribution from Stevie Nicks.
The album received unfavorable reviews from critics and was a commercial disappointment, failing to chart in the US and peaking at number 47 in the UK.
