Самый горгоротистый из всех горгоротов. Убойный бластбит, шквалы агрессии. Прям кузнечный цех какой-то, настолько все громоподобно, как извержение вулкана. И это не просто тупая долбежка, а "мелодичный" ураган ненависти, злобы. Есть песенки и на норвежском, как же баз этого. Оптимальная длина альбома не заставит зевать.Никаким Dimmu Borgir здесь и не пахнет. Такой же сырой звук как и на ранних альбомах, но мелодии - выше всяких похвал. Такое ощущение, что группа специально не хочет подписать контракт с крупным лейблом и выпустить свой материал, который все критики будут называть коммерческим. Поэтому Горгорот всегда будет звучать так же грязно. Но от этого альбом только выигрывает - это альбом для ценителей интересных идей, и здесь их предостаточно!

Колумбами себя не ощутили, а сыграли то и так, как умеют. Без затей и прикрас, но держа марку во всём. Потому "Clans" вышел намного лучше, чем предыдущая пара - "Тайная вечеря" и "Баллады висельника". Само собой, ощущается объяснимая возрастом тяжеловесность, вплоть до академичности. Да, уже не все риффы - что твой отбойный молоток, довольно много и протяжных, псевдо-лиричных проигрышей, которые оказываются, как правило, к сожалению, всего лишь музыкальной водой. И тем не менее, это всё ещё тот самый чудесный германский метал, который ценят и любят за его бескомпромиссность и простоту в духе "Тигров" и "Мессершмитов".

LP Mocking the Philanthropist on the Belgian record label Wood-Nymph. The CD booklet contained pictures of the band wearing shirts of far-right bands (Bound for Glory and Spear of Longinus), leading to tour boycotts and other problems. In their first nine years, GBK had only played nine gigs.

Этот претендующий на оригинальность death совершенно не производит должного впечатления. Небывало хаотичный, но отнюдь не в духе Morbid Angel. Скорее всего, эта хаотичность – следствие слишком уж мудреного построения композиций или отсутствия чувства гармонии. Хоть сколько-нибудь запоминающимися мелодиями альбом похвастаться не может, их там попросту нет. Музыкантам еще расти и расти в техническом плане, однако потенциал чувствуется уже сейчас. Очень неплохое качество записи, но при настолько бездушной музыке она не способна исправить положение. Впечатляюще звучит густой гроул, а вот второй вокал, какой-то трешевый, портит все впечатление.

Создана группа в январе 1999 года. Свою историю коллектив начал в городе Хейнола, Финляндия. Сначала главной идеей было играть отрываться и играть треш-метал. Но потом состав изменялся несколько раз и они потихоньку переосмысливали свой стиль, и меняли его, и их музыка становилась все агрессивней и все ближе приближалась к таким экстремальным стилям метала как дэт и блэк.Несколько демо было записано пока они не начали записыватся профессионально и не пользовались услугами лейблов. «Ephemeral Lifespan» промо было записано на Sundi Coop, но вскоре Gloria Morti подписалась на Japanese World Chaos Productions. После последовал дебют, с помощью Ларса Эйкинда (Winds, Before the Dawn) и Нино Лауренне (Thunderstone), группа записала альбом под названием «Lifestream Corrosion» в 2004-ом году.

Admittedly, this spot was between this new album, and Blossoms’ Foolish Loving Spaces. But the newest album from Gengahr, Sanctuary, eventually won me over thanks to their fusion of indie, rock and electronic, as oppose to Blossoms, who I have always perceived as one of the most fundamentally indie bands out there, which quite frankly bores me.

Gary Hughes. Just better. ... Gary Hughes started playing guitar when he was 9 years old and claimed as a schoolboy at Sale Boys' Grammar School to have composed Stairway to Heaven. His musical career started in 1989 when Hughes released his first album, Big Bad Wolf (renamed and re-released with extra tracks in 1992 as Strength of Heart) through the Polygram Oslo label in Germany and Norway. In 1992, Hughes signed with the then newly formed Now & Then Records and his forthcoming self titled album was the first one released on that label.

Gustav Holst was among those few classical composers to exert a major influence on rock music and popular music in the mid- to late- 20th century -- which is all rather ironic, since he passed away in 1934. Holst was part of the early- 20th century school of English composers usually referred to as post-Romantics -- along with his friend Ralph Vaughan Williams, with whom he shared a common interest in English folksong, he helped advance the cause of distinctly English orchestral music far beyond the boundaries of England; but much of Holst's music, as distinct from that of his contemporaries, was also steeped in Eastern influences that made it unique.
