Второй альбом "Kind Of Cool" нидерландского коллектива Gare Du Nord получился очень разноплановым. Ритм-н-блюз, диско, фанк, французский шансон, итальянский джаз, голоса Индии и ритмы Ямайки, мемфисский блюз, восточные этнические духовые, аккордеон и труба, шепчущие маракасы и плачущая гитара, невероятное количество барабанов и непременных сэмплов, примочек и пряных звуковых приправ.

Альбом "Rendezvous 8.02" вышел 4 июня 2012 года. В него вошли саундтреки к разным фильмам, в т.ч. римейк "Pablo's Blues" и новая песня "Tarantino's Tango", которые звучали в фильме Квентина Тарантино "Джанго освобожденный".

3 октября 2011 года группа представила в Амстердаме новый альбом "Lilywhite Soul". В него вошел кавер на песню Lou Reed "Perfect Day".

An extremely sophisticated quartet, striking a perfect balance between the enlightened creativity of the 60’s and today’s modern sound. Pianist Giovanni Mirabassi, who is part of this tight quartet together with Stefon Harris on vibraphone, Gianluca Renzi on double bass and Lukmil Perez Herrera on drums, composed “No Way Out” as his second recording for Cam Jazz. This album opens with the title track, a statement of intent as to the entire recording.

Galactic is a live machine, but they take it slow releasing studio albums which have been hit and miss in the past – most likely because their live shows deliver the goods. On Into The Deep the band has polished up the grime from the gutters of the Bywater and made an album more worldly sounding. This is by design as electro leaning production was handled in house by bassist Robert Mercurio and saxophonist Ben Ellman. Less concept, more of just a collection of smooth grooving tracks that touches all the genre labels. While not as structured as their recent successfully offerings it still flows easily and contains some shining moments.

In an age of safety-first conformity, it’s a refreshing pleasure to see an artist like Gabby Young develop on her own terms. With a shock of flame-red hair and a live show that owes as much to theatrical showmanship as much as it does to musicianship, she’s become pretty difficult to pigeonhole over the course of her career. One Foot In Front Of The Other, Young’s third album, continues this uncategorisable journey. Mixing together jazz, folk, cabaret, burlesque and swing (often in the same song) and delivered by Young’s extraordinary, operatic vocals, the results manage to be quirky without annoying and accessible while remaining defiantly uncommercial.

Foxtrot is the fourth studio album from the English rock band Genesis, released in October 1972 on Charisma Records. The album was recorded following the tour in support of their previous album, Nursery Cryme. Side two features "Supper's Ready", a 22-minute track that is considered one of the band's greatest compositions.

After producing the first disco hit entirely produced with a synthesizer, "I Feel Love", Moroder kept the collaboration going with engineer Robert Wedell to create a solo album. In the production credits, it is stated that "only electronic keyboards were used in the making of this album." The first part of the album is a nonstop dance mix that has been said to influence future generations of house music producers.
