Aerosmith Guitar legend Joe Perry returns with his fifth solo release with Have Guitar, Will TraveL, which offers nine original tracks(plus one cover song)of mostly guitar-smoldering rock that takes its’roots from Aerosmith per-say, but also infuses a variety of textures that are "all Joe."

Swedish band JONO started as a solo project of singer Johan Norrby (hence the moniker ”JoNo”), who has been singing, writing, and playing music in various bands and projects over the years. This applies also for all the other members of the band. Guitarist Stefan Helleblad is a member of Dutch symphonic sensations Within Temptation. Drummer Nicka Hellenberg also played all the drums on Within Temptation's "The Unforgiving" and has an impressive resume involving bands and recordings. Both keyboard player Johan Carlgren and bass player Janne Henriksson are frequently hired for both live and studio sessions. Leo Olsson – also a busy musician – joined the band in 2015.

In 2005 Mad Dogs and Englishmen turned 35 years old and as a birthday celebration, Rhino in cooperation with A&M released the limited edition Joe Cocker Mad Dogs and Englishmen - The Complete Fillmore East Concerts, documenting the entire four shows performed on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 1970 at at the Fillmore East. This is as close to perfection as a re-release can get.

German brothers Julian and Roman Wasserfuhr have been highly regarded talents in their home country since they were teenagers. Signed to the ACT label in 2006, their debut album that year, Remember Chet (for Chet Baker), showed remarkable maturity. By their sophomore outing Upgraded in Gothenburg (2009), the brothers had sufficient brand equity to draw bassist Lars Danielsson and trombonist Nils Landgren to their group. Landed in Brooklyn is the brothers fifth album and derives its name simply from their arrival in the epicenter of creative music, the location they had chosen to create this album.

Nashville-based singer/songwriter/pianist Jillette Johnson will release her sophomore album, All I Ever See In You Is Me, July 28 on Rounder Records. With her nuanced lyricism and shapeshifting vocals, Johnson is the rare artist who needs little sonic accompaniment to make an indelible impact. Produced by Dave Cobb (the Grammy Award winner known for his work with Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, and Chris Stapleton), All I Ever See in You Is Me offers up sparsely orchestrated songs centering on Johnson’s spirited piano work and graceful vocal command. Like only the most timeless songwriters, Johnson finds infinite depth within that simplicity, tapping into her quiet intensity and classic sensibilities to capture the subtlest of feelings.

Saxophonist Jeff Kashiwa will be always connected with the Rippingtons, although he already left the group in 1999 to concentrate on a solo career. This decision bore plenty of fruit with nine albums before he reunited with the Rippingtons in 2006 again. In 2004 he founded together with Steve Cole and Kim Waters The Sax Pack, a trio of saxophone headliners. . Jeff describes the new album as “a collection of songs that express the bittersweet awareness of how quickly time passes and in the same breath the excitement of what is to come as we travel the long road ahead.”

Pizzarelli’s second all-bossa record ( July 28, 2017), following 2004’s Bossa Nova, on which he collaborated with several Brazilian musicians (including singer Daniel Jobim, the grandson of bossa nova’s Duke Ellington, Antonio Carlos Jobim) and arranger Don Sebesky. The new one, Sinatra & Jobim @ 50, is conceived as a celebration of the anniversary of the first bossa nova album by Pizzarelli’s fellow New Jerseyan, Frank Sinatra. Though Pizzarelli operates with sly wit rather than Sinatra swagger, he opened for the legend’s international tour in 1993. The connection is more than geographic.
